as far as a Goff passing chart. I didn't leave it out because it didn't fit my narrative. But the Bears game was such an outlier IMO just because of all the pressure and missed passes (and some of his open wrs were deep) and utter lack of a running game. Goff is going to have to re-adjust to what he is looking at, because what he saw in the first 10 weeks is not what he is seeing now.
We can argue "not enough", but the scoreboard said they didn't throw enough underneath to win the game. At the same time, giving up 30 points, esp. to a backup QB, isn't exactly a recipe for success.
We just have to agree to disagree on this one small issue. I saw them emphasizing a short passing game in the first half. It led to some nice drives too. The 2nd half they had to abandon that and throw their way back into the game. But in the first half, it was happening. It was part of several conversations about the game while the game was going on.
