Re: DL caused QB pressure not in the stat book

Although the DL didn’t get the sacks we all wanted, the pressure they excerted up the middle caused some poor throws and panic by their QB. Virtually everytime the down and distance dictated pass from the Raiders the Ram DL drew penalties and/or excerted pressure up the middle. It appeared that the QB was cognizant of the need to get the ball out fast and frequently he could not step up into a pocket or fully into his throws.
