I keep seeing a lot of love for SF and how they may very well contend for the NFC West title. I just don't understand how the underlying facts support this. Are we supposed to forget that this team started 2017 with NINE losses in a row last year?
Were they really just a quarterback away from being a complete and winning team that whole time? Even among their five wins under Crappalo was a 15-14 nail biter against the Bears and a meaningless win over our JV team.
Yet they, along with us were rewarded with 5 primetime games in 2018!! Just doesn't seem justified to me...at all.
LA/SF may eventually turn back into a big rivalry, but right now it seems like it's being fabricated somehow. Rams have earned respect and national attention by creating results on the field, not by merely having it handed to them.
