It is quite possibly the most absurd move the Rams could make. And that is stating it politely.
If the Rams go out and pay Suh before they pay Donald, if I'm Donald, I ask for a trade. They money for Donald would be gone.
Aaron Donald is the most disruptive player in the NFL...yes the most...much more than Suh (and I was a huge backer when he came out)...more than Watt.
This not pay Donald...go cheap...trade him for 2 #1's talk is just foolish.
We get caught up in getting these picks when it we have shown we are just as likely to blow the pick that benefit from it. Snead has drafted 7 1st round picks. We have three left. Two earned the Pro Bowl...the other was put in by default (Goff). So...odds are you get one good player for Donald based on Snead's hit rate. We are proposing to get rid of a player many are already saying could be an All-Time great.
Actually, IMO Aaron Donald is worth more than 2 - #1's.
I just can't believe the Rams would be so .....
By the way, I'm sure letting Donald go to another team would do wonders to sell tickets in a new stadium.
