There is no doubt in my mind that McVay and Goff have already discussed this and it will be addressed during the off season and corrected before next season whether Sammy is here or not. In a lot of these stills I see other players open too. There most likely is more to this story than we will ever know.
My gut tells me it was a little bit of both players at fault on these. Partly on Goff not trusting SW to be where he should be and partly on Sammy for not knowing the playbook as well as he could have (by his own admittance) and partly on having so many options to throw to.
McVay is no dummy and neither is Goff. BOTH these guys watch film too and I am sure it will be corrected. It was Goff's first year in a "real" offense and McVay's first year getting to know Goff. Another year under their belt will only make them better. IMO, we are very lucky to have BOTH guys on our team. The future is bright and IMO the division now goes through L.A.. Not San Fran or Seattle. I am truly excited for our future for the first time in a looooooong time!!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
