What has really impressed me about Gurley is his improvement in pass pro. He wasn't very good at it as a rookie and spotty last year. So much that he wasn't trusted, although by the previous staff, to be on the field in obvious passing situations.
He excels at it this year. I'm not sure that I can recall a play where he didn't handle his man when that called upon to stay home and help block.
There's quite a difference when a defense has to worry about Gurley catching a pass on third and long instead of Benny C.
