Goff's transformation (or evolution, whatever you want to call it) this year has been fantastic. He still has shortcomings as he learns a new system. He's 13 starts into that system, not 30 or 40. He does still have a tendency to hold the ball too long which is pretty normal but I also see him getting rid of it more as the year progresses. He rarely forces things.
Yet I would guess out of his 418 attempts so far this year he's thrown maybe 10 really bad balls. I don't know how anyone would say this kid is not ahead of schedule. He's 7th in the league in QB rating, 8th in TDs (9th in TD percentage), 5th in INT percentage, 4th in yards/attempt and 2nd in yards/completion.
I love his demeanor, calm, smarts and drive. They got a very good one. Give him some more time. He is not a finished product.
