I agree but at times it didn't matter

Once they started blitzing him it was all over. I watched his first game against Miami and he played OK while he had some time in the pocket. And I watched his last game against the Cardinals where I think he maybe had 4 or 5 plays when he had more than 2 seconds to make a throw. Usually it was less time. I'm not sure how much route running even mattered since you can't go through many progressions in one second.

It sounds like I am exaggerating but I don't think I am. It was brutal.

Much like Gurley and Austin, I just want to see what the new players, coaching, scheme, play calling, etc. do to help him succeed. I think they NEED stop the defenses from crowding the LOS and blitzing so effectively. I would like to see him have some time to go through his progressions, preferably without being knocked down each time. I am excited for him and the offense... a reserved excitement.
