The Rams paid TA what they did based on the fact that he scored a combined 10 TDs in 2015. He was one of 23 players among all WRs, TEs, and RBs to do so that year.
His salary was reasonable for someone with that type of production.
The salary was based on actual production, not mindless infatuation. That type of production was not conjecture and takes him out of the bust category. So in that sense, you're not correct at all.
The issue is, it required projection that he could continue to put up those types of numbers. Obviously the projection was wrong. This year will be telling. We should know at the end whether the problem was Fisher or Tavon.
