Here's what Goff said in a recent interview about Gurley:
Goff says
"I've seen Todd really transform this off-season. He's been working really hard, harder than I've seen him work in a long time. He wants it more than anybody and I expect him to have a really good year."I think Goff is kind of responding to the claim that Gurley did not work as hard last year. Now he could not have known first-hand that TG did not work as hard in the 2016 off-season as he did in 2015 off-season...he only saw one of those. But you can bet that JG has
heard that about Gurley's 2016 off-season. So I take him there as responding to that particular criticism---he's saying, okay, things have been said, but you should see him, he's really getting after it. It;s like, I have heard the criticism of TG but I can tell you he's really dedicated right now.
