Not *ALL* of us do want that.
It's no secret who those people are and aren't.
By the way ... I'm not 'predicting' Goff will be great. If you can find one single solitary post in which I say that ... show me.
All I've ever said was that he was a target at a s**t fight last year and had zero chance to succeed.
All I've ever said was I want to see what a guy like McVay can do with him.
What surrounding him with real, live, professional football players at skill positions ... instead of doobie brothers like Britt and Quick ... may do.
I've also said that if he gets the help I think he needs ... and fails ... then I will have no problem coming here and saying, 'Wow, that was a really bad idea to move up and take him.'
And even if that happens ... I'm not going to criticize the PERSON. I'm not going to make a personal thing.
Of course, I don't expect SOME PEOPLE to do the opposite. If this kid hits and becomes a top-flight player ... I expect SOME PEOPLE to at that point give credit to everything else under the sun except the kid,.
Because that's the kind of game PEOPLE play.
