even after this draft, and free agency period there will be a shopping list for 2018
I still believe that holes at OL remain, and that they'll need a new young buck for LT.
Those aren't always easy to find are they?
And the long saga of finding the WR that "takes the top off" a defense also will remain an issue into next season.
It's not that either OL or WR aren't on the roster already, or that they can't be acquired and coached up this year, but by the terms I've seen over the course of a decade of losing the components just don't match the requirements.......yet.
Relating these type of issues into McVay and staff's first year I do think that this draft could assist in at least getting some pieces in place that help our progress
just walking through the visit lists they haven't been heavy with edge rushers, and RBs.
there's room on offense for help at OC, WR, and TE
don't have time to finish this thought right now, but as far as year one and the draft? Sean has some stuff he wants that he'll balance into the "stack"
I'm pretty sure that I'll be happy with all the prospects they choose. It's why a safe pick may not be the sexy pick, but will find a logistical spot on the roster.
it's why a guy like Feeney might be in the wheelhouse. Or a JuJu or Engram. A player with some limited use, but fills in a spot that gets used.
