I don't think anyone questions Robinson's athleticism. But...he has major issues that cannot be fixed.

1) Reaction time is s---l---o---w. He will never and I mean never fair well against top flight edge rushers or stunts.
2) He is not very smart. Sorry to phrase it this way but...You can't fix stupid. The stunts and blitzes are why you see Robinson standing there blocking no one...he is utterly confused.

This will never change. Fisher (oh yeah...he's gone) and Snead should be beaten with an ugly stick for picking a "project" player with the #2 overall pick. They knew he blocked 6 plays in college and knew he had no measurable pass blocking experience...something that the left tackle is all about.

He is rated lower than many 3rd tackles on teams throughout the league. He is 24. Whoop-dee-do! He should be a star by now. Tyron Smith (#8 overall pick) came into this league for the Cowboys at a young age (I believe age 20) and by season two was a stud. While I hate taking OL at the top of the draft, I would be fine if Robinson was a star. Instead, he is a rock you find in a field...dirty and just sitting there waiting to hurt someone.

Robinson is the most penalized tackle in the NFL. Some of you say the calls were bad. Well, when you are a holding machine, refs are going to look for it a little more.

Robinson can only be saved if by moving to guard, the game slows down for him. I'm not sure that happens...I don't think it happens. Can you imagine what an Aaron Donald would do to a slow reacting, not so smart Robinson. I mean...Donald makes Pro Bowlers look bad.

I've listened to this story since Robinson came in and couldn't beat out Davin Joseph...at which time I declared him a bust for season 1. So before you say "jemach...we know! You repeat it all the time!", just know I've been reading the same "hopeful" posts. When people finally stop posting for the impossible, I'll stop posting the reality. Let's face reality and move on. There is a new regime and the same ol' wishful thinking got us the 2016 season.

Robinson is a bust. Nothing will change that. Cased closed.
