See- I don't necessarily believe this is all on the HC as many do. I believe the personnel decisions (see above) that got them to this place were organizational and everyone was either voluntarily on board or involuntarily on board. As far as Fisher's ability to be a HC I have no idea. That is beyond my pay grade.
Aside from Jared Goff, which I do 100% believe was organizational, in the 5 years since 2012, which other player personnel moves do you feel were organizational? IMO Fisher was 100% responsible for every other player personnel move outside of Goff, which just happened in his 5th offseason.
I just wonder how much or how little Fisher was actually on board with that move up for Goff? I even wonder if he liked Wentz better. I thought Wentz would have been right up his alley. That being said, chances are if the Rams kept their draft picks from 5 months ago and not traded up to #1 for Goff, the majority of those picks would not be heavy contributors up to this point as rookies, so we are still looking at 5 consecutive losing seasons.
So yes, I do believe its all on the head coach with the power he was given when he was hired. Its Fisher`s show, possibly minus the Goff selection.
