I think the play where Gurley ran right and Keenum turned left to hand off the ball was an audible. (Keenum tucked the ball away and headed up the field off left guard for a nice gain.) I saw lots of talking among Keenum, the WRs, the OL, and Gurley after they lined up but before the play was run. And I think Gurley didn't get the message and simply ran the wrong play.
That's what I thought with that play too. Keenum has enough improv in his game, and enough game smarts, to see what happened and make something out of nothing on that play.
But yes they audible regularly though it's not always easy to tell just watching as a fan. We just know it's something they do do.
