I responded to what you said. I quoted it, and responded. The context of my doing that is encountering the same mistake umpteen times.
But as long as you raised the topic, as with many things, the entire issue of "when to start Goff" is open to many views.
Why act like there's just one ironclad dogmatic notion about how that should happen? I mean there will be different opinions of it. But that's all they will ever be. Different opinions.
And btw I may be one of the few people who absolutely does not care when Goff starts. This Sunday, later, next year. My view is I am fine with any of it and see most of the different arguments on it as being pretty much equal.
The only argument I reject is that the coaches screwed it up. I don't buy that one, myself.
