Um, JG had been third string all along. He's a raw rookie. No NFL snaps. He's behind CK who has some NFL experience and finished as our starter. Mannion is our backup. Has had a few live NFL snaps and has looked like he knows the system. It doesn't matter who has the most talent. He can't move up until he knows the plays. Goff will be our starter sometime. But he is not ready. Sure this can be a little frustrating but I'm willing to wait. Last year TG30 was coming off a bad knee and missed the first couple games. But when he got in he thrashed. I expect the same from Goff.
