Pre draft you couldn't read the name of Paxton Lynch or Carson Wentz without the word "raw" following close behind. One is now expected to be starting (Wentz), and one is expected to be starting before the season is half over (Lynch), and now "raw" is firmly attached to Jared Goff's name. Funny how that works.
Not all situations are the same...people need to get over the whole "but Wentz and Lynch are ahead of Goff" thing...
If we just traded away Case Keenum and threw in the towel for 2016 then Goff would be starting ahead of Mannion, no doubt...ready or not.
If Goff had Trevor Semien and Mark Sanchez ahead of him, I'm sure they would find away to dumb down the playbook and have Goff ready to start also.
