No real surprises here other than maybe Coples for the first round of cuts.
He seemed invisible to me so far this PS but read that he had 2 FF and a sack.
Have to think they just have younger, cheaper options with similar capabilities today and more upside for the future. The DL is really stacked with talent and I hope they can create enough pressure, quickly, to help what I think is a defensive backfield that's taken a step back. Sure wish they'd look to move Joyner to FS. You can't really lay the boom on the WR's anymore without getting a flag so a ball-hawking FS would be a better fit in today's NFL, as long as he can tackle. I realize Joyner missed a tackle on Saturday night, but generally speaking, he's a solid tackler and while smallish, he's very physical pound-for-pound.
Next week is going to be interesting. I think there may be some names on the cut list that surprise Personally, while I love the guy, I'd cut RB Chase Reynolds in order to make sure WR Marquez makes the final 53. The rams need the depth at WR and when healthy, they are almost the same guy when it comes to ST.
