Who Cares About Bill Walsh and Montana?

August 30, 2016 07:32AM
1. I don't like Fisher and wish him gone - that is important to know so you understand I'm not a lover and just looking to defend him.

2. Many people agree he should be gone and spend all their waking hours on trying to prove why they are right and ignoring any evidence whatsoever that they could be wrong.

3. Why does Bill Walsh keep coming up again and again?. Why not HC's who have had other HOF QB's and not been directly involved in their development? Cherry picking.

4. If Fisher were heavily involved in Goff's development by now he would assuredly be being accused of micro-managing and told to get out of the way.

5. The CW argument above is just silly. There have been GREAT coaches who were average players and GREAT players who failed at coaching.

Some balance would be nice from time to time.

There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.

So coaches should be chosen on where they were drafted.....

roman18624August 29, 2016 10:37AM

Besides his poor nfl career he has no track record of developing QB talent

promomasterj437August 30, 2016 07:50AM

  HUGE eyeroll here

LesBaker382August 30, 2016 01:39PM

  There are countless coaches.

RustyRay495August 30, 2016 04:32PM

The results with Goff so far and Foles last year point to him not being great

promomasterj386August 31, 2016 08:10AM

  blaming him for Foles meltdown???
