I've had if for free for 3 years and they pointed this out.
The woman in the retention department was super nice and went away 3 times to try and get a deal (presuming she wasn't lying and I din't think she was).
She said there are no deals now, but I should call back in 4 or 5 weeks. She did say that AT&T had really tightened things up.
HOWEVER, I did get a $20 per month rebate for a year which is nigh on the same. Go figure.
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
