Brown can play but is clearly a knucklehead. Look, you can drive around endlessly in Calif with a baggy of weed... but in the rest of the country they actually follow Federal law. Not discerning the difference is D-U-M-B.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com

If the Rams are gonna meet the Saints twice this season, would you rather they win the first or second meeting? I'm short on time so I'll keep this brief. The Rams defense sure looked vanilla to me... save for the experiment of having Peters covering Thomas solo. Doubt we'll see that next round. Seems to me the Rams are the odds on favorites to capture home field advantage in the playoffsby SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com

...somebody lists all the sure thing kickers available that'll be happy to sign knowing they're gone a' soon as Zurlein returns? I'll wait for that list. ...? ...? ...wasn't chopped liver either. He put it just where only Higbee could get it. And Higbee made a helluva catch, too. There's been a lot of down-talking our TEs around here recently, and a lot of "well, at least he's an okay blocker" opinions on Higbee. However, I think Higbee will emerge this season as a solid versitile receiving/blocking Tight End. And that's a pretty key pieceby SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
I think we can safely stash him on the practice squad. As much as many will ridicule his play, Kurt Warner apparently looked like a nobody in Packers' training camp. Ended up, he could play. Not by any means suggesting that Perez will become a starter; merely pointing out that --given a chance-- players sometimes develop into more than initial impressions suggest.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com

Ok -- I expect to get beat up over this, but here's what I think: Firstly, for reasons we all find unfathomable, Sean McVay seems to trust in Sean Mannion. So I think the odds are the Rams just stand pat. However, if I were calling the shots, I'd take a very serious look at Austin Davis, who's likely getting cut loose by Seattle after they sent a draft pick to GB for Brett Hundley. My vote is Mundt over Hemmingway if they're only keeping 3 (and unless Hemmingway is an absolute blocking demon -- which I didn't look at). The thing I like about Mundt (unlike Hemmingway) is that when he's thrown a catchable ball --ta da!-- he catches it. And a little farther-fetched... if New Orleans thinks they can slip their TE Arnold onto the practice squad, I'd be thrilled if the Rams gby SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
Donald wants to get the best deal he can get but wants to stay a Ram, and doesn't really mind missing training camp anyway; in which case, you draw negotiations out till just before the regular season starts, then come to terms just in time for the regular season. Oh, as to the original question: Donald, hands down. He's the most disruptive defender in the NFL. And aside from the contract/cby SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com

How early do you think Payne/Vea go? Is it too early for the Rams to have a chance of getting there? I very much like the idea of turning a team strength into an over-whelming team strength, and possibly upgrading the NT position with one of the two meets that standard. Imagine having a DLine where the prospect of running productively is nearly hopeless.:thumb:clap If neither of the two pby SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
But on the other hand, if regular season games are marred by ticky-tacky calls that's fine and dandy? This makes sense to you, does it?by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
Kinda like the idea of Taylor as backup QB (though, as posted above, much prefer Fitzpatrick). Not sure he'd ever master the set passing attack of McVay, but his ability to scramble and improvise might make him a great backup QB. O' course, he's also gotta be a good character/personality fit for the team also --about which I've no idea... but Woods/Watkins know!by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
Is it just me, or doesn't it seem like every year the officiating gets worse in the playoffs? They have officials working in TEAMS throughout the preseason and regular season, but then pull out the super star referees for the playoffs. Officiating, like team sports, is a collaborative activity -- the best team isn't necessarily composed of the most super stars. I'm hard-pressed to think of aby SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
Without question Mannion would have looked better surrounded by 1st stringers. The question is how much better? Has he ever played with the starters when it's really mattered? I don't recall it... so presuming the results one way or the other is pure speculation. Would love to have him prove he's a viable starter.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
