poor effort from Akers AND from Baker, IMOby JamesJM - Game Time Forum
They have so many 'elite' weapons I'm not sure any team has ever had more. And is Purdy now one of them? What a nightmare.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
because I have no choice... .is as depressing as it gets. My GOD but their offense is powerful.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Coach and players alike.... it's always reported that they intend to be very aggressive... and I think there's truth in that... and also that it hasn't been the best strategy for them. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
in High School I've begun to think 'assumptions' are the rule and not the exception. :laughing As you know I took video of 6 games per week, (HS and Youth), for geez....12, 15years? That's a lot of games. In that time I saw dozens of calls made where the official wasn't even looking at the "so called" penalty but instead turned to see a player down and just 'assumed' it must haveby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
"Nurse"? That was really a TV show? :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I actually believe that for the most part the officials do an amazing job... right the vast majority of the time. I disagree with some of the rules, the way they're written, but the officials almost always call it right, IMHO.... HOWEVER... When they miss it can be horrendous. Mind numbing. Stupefying. Blithering idiot incompetent. I don't know how to factor that in. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
but rules are rules.... if it was targeting, (I'm dubious), they should have got a fresh set of downs. But morally, ethically, righteously, sense of fair play, you're dead on right. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
And like to add... from our most optimistic posters to our most pessimistic we all stuck... and not just this year.... nearly all of us were here and stuck during the Linny/Spags/Fisher debacle.... many during those dreadful 90's.... ALL here are diehard Ram fans. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Got thru the night without aspirin... fever didn't come up. I'm just wrung-out from a week+ of being sick... but well on my way to normalcy. Strange game for me. Oh sure.... GO RAMS... but my grandson is a Charger fan and they're in it while our Rams are not. Big game for him.. important! So absolutely GO RAMS... but if the worst happens it won't be nearly as gloomy for me as it normallyby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think it was 'chance' he missed the head.... that implies he meant to target, helmet to helmet. I don't think that was his intent at all. He did, however, and I think the replay made it clear - hit his head. Completely agree it was unnecessary on his part. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
battling some damn sickness for the last week but it seems to be easing somewhat... at least my fever isn't as high. So completely NON-hungover tomorrow I probably still won't be feeling chipper.... maybe I'll save that hangover for the Niners going down. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
football has a long history so I can't say there wasn't one.... but I certainly can't remember one.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Or even big games in the NCAA that defenses suddenly go to hell? Or maybe offenses just suddenly explode? I can't figure out how so many of the big games between highly ranked teams can produce such high scores. Well.. no matter why... the NCAA produces some incredibly exciting games. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
You may be right... won't argue the point... but to me that hit didn't fit what I would consider targeting... my reasons: He did turn his head, not debatable, it was nothing like a lead with the crown of your helmet hit. Due to body configurations in motion he did make contact, however. THAT I didn't see as intentional.... but I DO think... The hit, clean or not, was not needed at all. Not only am I NOT in a partying mood but I'm not sure I'll make it thru this Georgia/Ohio St. game. :laughing Glad you ARE in party mood, Ramgator.... even if it's just chips and coke. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Always, ALWAYS.... I see several names that I somehow missed when they passed. don't know why I do this to myself... it hurts... or rather... I do know why... just want to say goodbye, even if it's late, and it hurts. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
that game went surrealistic. Ya know... I got away from NCAA football for a long while.... got back into it, gradually, a few years ago and wow.... am I glad I did. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

When Ekern made this post I grinned, in pride, and passed the news to my family... we're all reliving the experience. :laughing BTW... Mason would LOVE to see Cade get drafted.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
is the 'faux' mirror of her. Not the guy, which is as you say... just a mirror reflection. That would be the easiest, seems to me, since it's simply superimposed layer around the wood frame of the second 'faux' mirror... which I what I think you're saying? The transition would be easy... you add the layer between the pans so no 'splice' would be noticeable.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
This features my grandson, (obviously), but you can spot Cade in it... #82. Cade was a WR until.... I don't know when... maybe when he transferred from Nebraska to Kansas?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
That's Cade #82 with Kurt and my grandson Mason #8. Mason had more yds receiving that Cade. :laughing That was the Blue Gray All Star game at the Oakland Coliseum. I didn't have as much pull as Kurt. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
What? were you raised in a bubble unexposed to the world? :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
If it helps your eyes or if it hurts your eyes to view a monitor. I was like you... had terminator good vision... was tested at 20/10. But when my 'reading' vision started to go it was quick, almost overnight. Like you - in bright light I can read without my reading glasses... but in normal light I HAVE to have my glasses. Some years ago I posted here a very strange thing... on my bacby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I have a Kindle.. had it for years. I started off hating it to read with BUT... I kept at it and today I can 'tolerate' it. I still read paperbacks mostly... I just prefer holding a real book... BUT... I do use the Kindle a little. I have even used the Kindle App on my laptop and desktop... which I prefer for E-Reading because of the screen size.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
If that's what acupuncture offers... Japanese ladies giving massages... I'm signing up... the persistent appointments are fine with me and so is the "Ka-Ching". :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
