Thinking of Chubb? By the time he recoups his career could be over - and he didn't deserve it.by mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
What a fun watch! Football isn't the only collision sport and how these guys react is fun to watch. Watch to the end. Avila's interaction with a kid is priceless.by mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
If you don't remember, you migh be able to look up the dirty cheap shot that took out Sam Bradford's knee and changed the trajectory of his career. Classic hip-drop tackle, deliberate, and dirty as - - - - what Stafford said. I don't want to hear any more whining from the players and coaches that teach and use it, as-if they are somehow the victims if they can't keep doing it. It's cheap, dirtby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Brandon Marshall. Real good wide receiver who said that his whole life opened up for him after diagnosis with BPD, or borderline personality disorder. He now devotes much of his life to digging other people out, giving them hope. Here's another: Richie Incognito. No further coment about Incognito.by mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Controlling the clock has as much to do with defensive takeaways and stops as it does offense, especially early in th game. Running the clock down with a comfortable lead, slowly grinding out those third downs, only counts for the last quarter of the game. For the first three quarters, I want to see picks, hard tackling and hats to the ball that produces fumbles, and early possession thirdby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Football or no, I think Bennett will be fine. For possibly dysfunctional (for want of a better word) reasons, he's shown that he can be an overcomer - a high achiever. He has that within himself. Going forward, for the right reasons, what can he achieve? If he makes it back at all (and it seems he's on that path) he will be stronger, better able to pull others through their hardships, his lby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com

I thought we were giving plenty of love to Kobie Turner. I learned on this board that his stats exceeded Aaron's last year. I see much attention givn to who will play beside him - and this doesn't in the least slightr Kobie. I see no suggestion at all that he is anything short of the very best of our three-man DL front. Are we missing something? Pleae share. Cheers, mtramby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
He trimmed his weight and played out of position for so long; it'll be interesting to see what he does in his natural position - or one of them. He's super-smart and a quick learner who would bring high level athleticism to the T or DE positions.by mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks. Not just for your kind remarks about my post, but for the respect, sense of dignity, and compassion for this young man Stetson Bennett that you reveal by your reponse,by mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com

4.41 isn't fast enough? What's his speed once he gets going? That's what we'd both probably like to know - does he play fast, outrun people to get open or have an afterburner to fire once he gets the ball? If he's fast at prototypical WR dimensions, I'll take that over a speedy but undersized little wideout any day. I'll give up 1/10th of a second to get more range, durability, etc. Fast guyby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Mental illness is something most people want to keep hush-hush. It's embarrassing, shaming, and stigmatizing. Bennett's seclusion and the Rams guarding of his privacy are indicative of more than an eight-week drying out period in an alcohol rehab facility. Something deeper, more grave in its ramifications, is going on. The drinking episodes are only part of it. Sometimes brains and emotionsby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com

So I wonder... with other pressing needs where does the money come from? I think it's there only of a preferred FA who is in already dialogue with Snead isn't signed - like White, maybe. We hired Smith as a returner - has he developed under the radar since last year? Is he ready? I'll leave this to the coaches and Snead rather than the scribes to figue out. And I'll bear in mind that withby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Why not Deacon? He could have played in any era. He changed the game. And yes, I love the fodder of pipedreams such as yours. Dream on... How about an all-time Rams best D lineup? I have my thoughts... anybody else? (One-year rentals don't count. Gotta be long-term Rams.)by mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
You think so? I hope you're right, but Aaron Donald, if nothing else, is a man of commitment. He's made a commitment to himself and his family. He pushed and pulled himself through this last season - and may have missed a Super Bowl appearance by nothing more than a jersey-grab on a teammate wide receiver's jersey. He's gone to the well for us many, many times. There as more speculation amby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com

Box #1: Part of the deal for McVay (and for Snead) is that the Rams want guys who love to play football. If they're looking for the best deal they can get, fine - just so long as they love to play football and aren't in it just for the money. If the Rams want the player, they'll make a fair offer. Box #2: Do they fit into the Rams culture and lockerroom mix expressed in "we not me?"by mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Mentioned it in the other thread. And as you undoubtedly have, I've combed the highlight reels and this is one that eluded me. The others I've seen show the ho-hum, big hole, back-runs-through stuff that litter everybody's highlight reels. This one shows the kind of moves that set Arnett apart. He had close to Barry Sanders-like jukes, better field vision, and ran with more power. He was alsoby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
You can see why. One thing that doesn't show clearly unless you look for it is how close to the ground he'd sometimes get when making a cut. His experience as a gymnast and hurdler in track were evident on the football field. I don't think I've ever seen another back e run with better balance. His shoulder-rolling running style was the beginning of a fake in itself. Moves? He seen med toby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
This is the best video of Arnett highlights I've seen. You get to see the stop-start, the lateral moves, the reading of blocks (when he had them) and lateral field vision second to none, the power at contact and stepping out of tackles that he also possessed. Glad they also showed his passing and receiving abilities as well. With a winning franchise he'd be a Hall of Famer. I've been harpingby mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
We haven't signed him yet - he could be looking at struictly a money decision (that's the way agents roll, as their percentage is tied to nothing but dollars) but if he wants to play for a winner as he did with the Bills, he'd choose the Rams if the numbers were close.by mtramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
