I think we need an Ed Reed type center fielder. We've used two SS types for a while now, but I think we need more of a ball hawk back there.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I would, depending on who else is available.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
He talks a great game. Hope he has what it takes to be a great head coach. As in most things you just don't know until he gets out there and does it. Head coaching is way different than anything he's done in the past. So far I like the guy, just anxious to see how it goes.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
He'll be in the draft this year. Anybody know if he's draftable? His dad played pretty well for us for a few years.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
Looks like some places reported it as a 2017 pick and others as a 2018 pick.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
Can they do it this week or would they have to wait until after the Superbowl?? They still have some coaches to hire (OC and OL coaches in particular) and I'm wondering if they've been waiting for some Falcon coaches to become available.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I say the same thing. That should have been on the 1 yard line.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I know it's hard to pick another QB when you have other needs, but they are so hard to find that if you see one that you like you have to take a shot.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I love Marshall and hope they find a spot for him, but I think that what we really need is an experienced personnel guy at the top.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think he's a great punt returner either. Goes east and west way too much. Dances around. Also is not aware - catches punts inside the 10 and sometimes 5 yard line. WHEN he gets the ball and starts gong north and south he has talent. That just doesn't happen often enought.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't see any Redskins games this year. Anybody know what type of blocking scheme their offense used? I'll be glad then they get their Offensive line coach hired.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he had a very good year, especially under the circumstances. I can see the Rams resigning him depending on who else is available.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay already mentioned Barron and Ogeltree as inside linebackers. I think old Wade will find a place for a player like Barron without much trouble..by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com

I think it's the next most important hire - depending on who the new OC is. Any guesses?by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I think 8 and 8 would be fine, but honestly expecting less the first year. It's going to be a learning year for McVay and it may take Wade a few games to really learn the personnel and an off season to really make his defense work. I think the defense will be respectable this year, awesome next year. Hope I'm wrong and McVay is the second coming of Don Shula out of the box, but I'm thinkingby RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
First time I've had a chance to hear him speak at length. Very impressive. It's going to be a fun off-season!by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I love Wade Phillip and think he'll do great and find ways to use the players he has. I can see Quinn and Ogletree lining up on the edges and going after the QB! He'll find ways to make Donald at least as effective as he has been. He is going to need some linebackers though, especially inside. Any good free agents out there this year? I'm betting on a new FS as well.....by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I think all I was saying that we don't know how ANY coordinator will do until they are a head coach. Shanahan may be the next Lombardi or whatever, and if the Rams grab him I hope he is. I'm sure every coordinator ever hired had glowing reports before he was hired to lead a team. The point of this post, I believe, is that any pick is a guess. Doesn't mean we shouldn't go with a coordinator, juby RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it's been proven time and again that success as a coordinator does not necessarily mean that someone will be a good head coach. It's a whole different mindset. I also think that success, or lack of, as a previous head coach is not always indicative of how someone will succeed as a head coach with a new team. Different front office, assistants, etc... make all the difference. Definitby RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
Does anybody believe that he would help select someone that didn't want him at GM? Personally, I don't think he did a bad job in draft pick selection and the signing of undrafted free agents. At the time I thought that Robinson was the obvious pick, as did a lot of "experts". I never did understand the Tavon pick and thought re-signing him for big money was nuts, but what do I knowby RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
We've tried going with the hot offensive coordinator with Scott Linehan... We've tried going with the hot defensive coordinator with Steve Spagnola... We've tried going with a well regarded (at the time anyway!) experienced head coach with Jeff Fisher.... So where do we go from here? Maybe hiring an experienced GM first?? Might be best to build from the top down this time.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
They worked together in the past.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
He's not going to turn into Brady in the last game. He's gotten some game experience and I don't see any problem with sitting him so he doesn't get killed. Mannion had been on the team for two years - what is the problem with giving him one start before we start over next year?by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
but seem to go downhill from there. Let's hope they keep it going!by RamBum - Game Time Forum
