I may be wrong but I think waiting a few weeks does not affect the $3M they will owe him, so why not wait and see if they can get something for him.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
5 years, $40M, $20M guaranteed. Honestly don't think he was a lot better than what we already have.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I'll miss Sammy and I think he would have had a great year, but I'm OK with him leaving, considering the size of the contract, as long as he didn't go to the 49ers!!!!!!by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
Not the usual NT type, but he'd be a monster on that line.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
My guesses would be OG Hernandez, C Daniels, or OT Miller. I'd be fine with any of these three. A lot depends on who they sign in free agency and who is available when they draft.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
Second guess would be the Bearsby RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
Here are my choices: ILB's Avery Williamson from Tennessee, Preston Brown from Buffalo, Todd Davis and/or Corey Nelson from Denver. Defensive Tackle DaQuan Jones from Tennessee OL Cameron Fleming from New England. I'm sure they're looking for a center as well, just not sure they want to pay what the available centers will cost.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
ESPN is saying that Sherman will be visiting the 49ers today. Would not be surprised at all if they sign them. Looks like it is going to be one heck of a rivalry again with the 49ers going forward. I hope they're the ones chasing our butts this time around! :)by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess I'm just old and hornery and will never get it. A guy gets a contract for $20M a year and is unhappy because the guy next to him is getting $21M. What a wonderful world.....by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
Who knew! They've had months to work on it and wait until the last few days....by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
They've had months to negotiate with all these guys, and it always come down to the last minute. If they haven't signed either one by now, and don't know by now which one they should tag, it's on them. I know it's not as easy as I made it sound there and that there are a lot of variable, but it still seems nuts to me.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
It's win now, but it's not like they are mortgaging the future. They are getting a known talent (with issues) that could be a big win for them. If not, they've lost a couple of draft picks that may or may not have worked out. I love following the draft, but I like this way to move forward as well.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
TruJo will get more money elsewhere than what the Rams would be willing to pay. Only way would be if he gave the Rams a home team discount, which I doubt will happen.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
Since he's not under contract? What am I missing?by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
If they think he's worth signing for whatever amount they agree to, I'm good. I like what Sammy brings to the offense, but I think these two guys have a better idea of what's best for the team. How many days now until the new season starts? I can't wait! :)by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I think that at least part of the reason that Goff spent so much time on the sidelines was because he, or at least the offense, couldn't sustain any drives. Don't get me wrong, I love Goff, but I think that with another year of experience this would have been a different game.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the Rams had a great season, obviously their best in a long time. It was fun to watch and follow, and I think all or us Rams fans are grateful. It should be a fascinating off-season. Free agency and the draft should be fun to watch - especially after the coaching staff has had a year to evaluate the players and get a better idea of what changes they want to make. I think, as the Tby RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
It should help to find out which players they want to keep next year, and give them a better idea of what areas to concentrate on in bringing in new players via the draft and free agency next year. Hard to believe, but this team should be even better after another off season. The staff will have a much better fix on the strengths and weaknesses of the team going forward.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com

I'm bored waiting for "THE GAME", so I started looking at the next draft and saw that they have three sixth round picks. It doesn't make up for the missing second, but it helps. If the Rams lose Watkins and Johnson they should get decent compensatory picks as well. I'm thinking they'll be looking at CB's, pass rushers, a NT, and offensive linemen to develop. All depends on who's avaby RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com

I saw that Hagar was playing and they said something about an injury but I didn't catch it all.by RamBum - Game Time Forum
Have no idea that that was all about. The had plenty of time to use timeouts and try and get a touchdown.by RamBum - Game Time Forum
Even with the new coaching staff they keep trying to make him a running back.... what a waste of timeby RamBum - Game Time Forum
I left them last year when they wouldn't give me a decent deal for the NFL package. Moved over to Dish. I have to day I much prefrer Dish to DirecTV, but I do miss the football!by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
Just wondering if I'll be able to watch the game this week. Thanks!by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
You make some good points. I was just hoping for a glimmer, something to make me think the offense was improving. I realize that preseason games aren't really indicative of how the regular season is going to go, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
Sure looked like the same old Rams offense to me. I didn't expect miracles, but did the Rams even ATTEMPT a pass more than ten yards down the field? And is Goff doing so well that he doesn't need more reps than he got? Again, i realize the team has a long way to go, but I was hoping for some kind of spark, even if it was just a glimmer.by RamBum - RamsFootballFans.com
