Nailing the clutch kick to send us to the playoffs in 2000 for the Bears just after MF chewed up the Saints in the Dome. I don't remember who they were playing, but it was a pretty significant upset that ended up getting us in.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
they would've been 1 game back of the Niners with two to play and would've owned the tie breaker because they would've swept them. I don't remember the Niners schedule, but maybe that pressure would've resulted in a different outcome. It is doubtful, as that was a great Niner team (I think they were first in the NFL in Offense AND Defense), but you never know. As to their record in the NFC,by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
That idea sounds very intriguing. I wonder if Havs could catch a 1 yd TD pass? As we saw the seachickens regularly use a 6th linemen.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't have to worry about playoffs in my league. According to my yahoo app, with under 2 minutes left in the Iggy-Giant MNF game I had a 99% chance to win my last regular season game, which would've put my team in the playoffs. 2 Ertz Tds later, my 99% chance changed to 0% and I lost by 2 points and am on the outside looking in. With the luck I had this year, I wouldn't give any adviceby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
an injured Sullivan in the first Whiner game in '17 and the OLine didn't skip a beat and put up big numbers that game. I also seem to remember him getting other spot duty at C while Sullivan recovered from that injury and he held up well.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
All I'm saying is that when he played his natural position he looked fine and held his own. Sure, it is a small sample size, but that was his only chance and he took advantage of it. I was pretty impressed with what little I've seen of him and think he has a real shot at starting at LOT if healthy. Maybe you're right and he isn't going to be the starter, but to call him a JAG just becauseby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'll say it again he made one start and saw a little more action at his natural postion, OT, and played well in his ROOKIE year. This year they moved him to G on the fly playing with an Oline that completely under performed including BOTH OTs and a brand new Center, and he struggled. McVay and many others said that he was just starting to show well while playing his brand new position and theby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
it seems like a good counter to the loaded 5-6 man fronts that the Rams saw in the Super Bowl and for much of this season. Maybe it was because a lack of confidence in the Oline, but it sure seems like this would help any oline than it could hurt it. Hopefully it is here to stay to at least some extent..by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
after starting ONE game at OT (his natural position) and getting spot duty in a couple other games at the position? He also held his own and played well overall when he was on the field at OT. Assuming he recovers from his injury, there is a very good chance he is our starting LT next season.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Started the year with a 6 game winning streak followed by a 4 game losing streak. Unfortunately that was probably the best Niner team ever that we had to compete with in that division. The most heart breaking loss of my lifetime followed by quite a run that eventually ended with a thud. Imagine if Everett completed that pass to flipper and the Rams went up 10-0? Despite the ending and tby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
This will definitely be a test for our rebuilt Oline. And then the test gets even tougher the following week. It should be interesting how they fare over the next couple of weeks.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
on this board. I'm thinking the Higbee-Everett combo sure is starting to look pretty formidable.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
We have found our coach!! He has pulled us from the abyss, and has made us very relevant again. Hopefully he will be here for the next decade plus and will lead us to multiple playoff appearances and hopefully championship(s).by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
anytime we can beat RW and the Hawks, it is special. To completely dominate them like we did made it even more special. A great night indeed!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
check out the Seahawk schedule/results. 9 of their 10 wins have been by one score or less and some of those weren't exactly against world beaters.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Put simply, we disagree. Not a whole lot more to say...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
was the plan to limit TG's carries in the Pittsburgh game coming off a bye, which was preceded by a game that he barely played in the 2nd half? He was on the field for a season high 57 snaps but had TWELVE total touches in the game including ZERO touches in the 4th quarter of a game that was never more than a one score game. Are you suggesting that this was a usage game plan? Then the followby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Dylan Hernandez. I updated the post to reflect this.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
By DYLAN HERNANDEZ COLUMNIST DEC. 4, 2019 8:57 PM It’s on him. He’s the quarterback. He’s the player with the $134-million contract. Jared Goff nodded. “That’s part of the job, man,” he said. “That’s part of the job.” Less than a year removed from playing in the Super Bowl, the Rams are in danger of missing the postseason entirely. The Minnesota Vikings are a game ahead oby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
this makes sense as the percentage of plays that he has been in on has remained consistent, but obviously his touches haven't. One possible explanation for this could be that the Rams have been playing from way behind often, which is obviously not the case. The only two other possibilities are its play calling or a concerted effort to reduce his touches while still being on the field, or soby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
The Saints play the Whiners this week and then have road games vs the Titans and Panthers to end the year. It could go through Nawlins again, but it is far from a certainty.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Out of the the remaining games left on our schedule, the Seahawks are definitely the most beatable, outside of the Cards of course. Seattle's had alot of balls bounce their way this season. They are fifth in the NFL in turnover ratio with +10. Although they are 10-2, the Seahawks are also only a +36 in point differential (The Rams are a +33) compared to the Whiners +166. 9 of their 10 winsby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh I can see it. It would have to be a slug fest with the Rams relying heavily on their run game with no turnovers. No more pretty, high scoring games while predominantly passing. They would need a similar gameplan to the Chicago game to have a chance IMHO.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
who would win the tie breaker in that situation? One could dream....by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Just so terrible. And both plays were reviewed too!!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd love to see these plays side by side. SOOOOO Frustrating!!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
wasn't that play identical to Goff's "fumble" which cost the Rams a TD? Unbelievable...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
were just terrible calls. Unbelievable...:bangheadby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
That is what is so maddening. We COULD have a dominant defense, but those two awful performances put major doubt in that. The defense is alot like the offense in this respect. I know alot of this has to do with the competition, but it just shouldn't be this different from game to game no matter who the opponent is.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
