Mannion was a wasted pick, mainly because he was drafted so high and the Rams turned around and gave up their entire draft to take a QB #1 the very next year. I still don't like that scenario...not sure that I'd be hanging my hat on the current Mannion scenario. Rather than focusing on Mannion leap frogging our number 1 pick on the depth chart, I'm pretty disheartened that our supposed franchby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Jeez we've seen 2 pre season games and it sounds like you've already wrote the kid off. It is pretty obvious that you don't like the pick, but lets give it a little more than his very first 2 pre season games. And I'm in no way, saying the kid is the next Joe Montana, but sink or swim, lets let him adjust to the NFL game and at least get some NFL regular season game action under his belt befoby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Hes shown alot. Been pounding the Chiefs on the ground and then makes THAT catch. Very Nice!!!by sacram - Game Time Forum
pass attempt yet with Goff on the field. It seems like every first down turns into a 2nd and 8 or 9 for the kid.by sacram - Game Time Forum
that they were looking for cooper to redeem himself in the second half from the previous week's drop when he had a first half touchdown. Did those halftime guys even watch the first half? Also a nice touch when they panned to the booth\, MF was playing on his cell phone for the majority of the camera shot.by sacram - Game Time Forum
I completely agree with that. Gaines HAS to be on the field as he is the only CB who is definitely the 2nd best CB on the roster...but that all goes out the window if he can't get on the field. I hope all is well with you speed....by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe it was Albert Breer on the Rich Eisen show, stated that Cousins starting point in negotiating a long term contract, was the equivalent of the 2 franchise tag years in guaranteed money for the first 2 years of the contract. The Skins saw that as too steep, and they will let it play out on a year to year basis, which if you stop and think about it, makes sense for both sides really. Iby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I think TruJo is taking a chance. He really has't proven anything over an extended period of time and he has NEVER been a true number 1 CB in the NFL. If the Rams are making him a comparable offer to the highest paid CBs in the NFL, I think he should jump on it. Trujo should give Bonzi Wells a call on this subject. If he excels in the number 1 role he could definitely get a big payday, but iby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess you bought the Rams a championship. Thats crazy... I'm not a big gambler, but I did bet a 500 dollar paycheck on the Rams to cover when they beat the Whiners early in 99 so that was very sweet. I also went in on a 100 dollar parlay with my brother taking the Rams to cover and go over against the Bucs in the NFC championship, so I gave that back....by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe it was 400-1 in 99, and the casinos lost some money on that and changed the odds forever thereafter. I threw down an odd 50 dollar bet or 2 on the Rams winning the Superbowl off and on leading up to 99, but unfortunately I didn't pull the trigger in 99. There were some happy Ram fans that year in more ways than one.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
That was me in the back row with the two fingers up behind banjo man....man, I think that dude has done some serious acid in his day, he was in his own world. I remember that day well, as it was actually a Ram victory. I've been to the stick about 6 or 7 times to see the Rams play, and that is the only victory I've witnessed. Also note, that was the game where SJack broke Mike Rumph's arm:by sacram - The RamsFootballFans.com Tailgate Party
