Situationally maybe it wasn't the right thing to do in some poeples opinion, I disagree. Not that these numbers matter for this discussion but here is some fun info..........The conversion rate for two-point attempts over the last 5 years is 50%. 90% of kicks from the range where the extra point is kicked are good. So on 100 kicks you get 90 points. On 100 two-point attempts you score 1by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com

Really what do you expect from a backup QB? If you expect him to be even a bottom tier starter he wouldn't be a backup, someone would be paying him 10MIL to be a bottom tier starter, or he would be a journeyman starter. He's a backup. And a good one. Anytime you can win more games than you lose with a backup that's a HUGE plus.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
He's proven himself to be a good backup, that's critical in the NFL. Why let him walk?by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
And why people aren't getting that is hard to fathom.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
That's not the same as breaking a lease, or a clause. The clause stated that if they didn't keep the venue a "top 25%" (actually the exact term in the lease was "top tier" in several categories which is really vague of course) then the lease converted to a year to year contract. The Rams submitted plans to achieve that in their opinion and the venue declined. The venue alsoby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
This great run is tainted and the proof of that is ANY discussion of Belichik's Patriots will always involve how he cheated. From Spygate to Deflategate to using the IR and injury report to practices to stealing play sheets from locker rooms and the list goes on. There will always be those mental asterisks.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
That is a common misperception. The Dome opted not to upgrade the stadium, that was their option they were not required to do so, it just triggered another clause that the Rams were then allowed to go year by year on the lease rather than be bound by a 10 year extension. Stlramz posted that he has emails saying someone told him he would be able to get PSL's if they relocated, it was from yby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
I live close by so it was an easy drive up from Bonita Springs. In fact, I stopped on the way to pick up Mackeyser and his daughter to take them to the game. You may remember him, he hasn't posted here in awhile but does on another board I frequent. Several guys from there were at the game. During the game I sent out some texts to guys saying "I think we finally have a QB". Afterwardby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
And in 3 years it'll be a fond memory because there will be guys getting 30MIL a year. I thought the Colts were going to make Luck the first 30MIL guy. I wonder who is going to hit that mark first.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Other than AZ they aren't playing anyone with much fire power until Week 5. And then the real hard games show up one after another after another. Bengals, Steelers, Seahawks, Ravens, Seahawks and Broncos. Not to mention the Jets on the road may be a hard one too. There is a 9 game stretch where they play all of those games plus the Rams defense will be coming to town the week before they plby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Now the 49ers did it with different coaches and two HOF guys under center so that's something. But they never had to live under the cap, the just bought the talent. The Patriots run is slightly better IMO because they are doing it in the cap era. We will see how long they can keep it up. Something tells me they won't be letting Garoppolo go anywhere because Belichick is not going to endby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
There will be a RB or WR or someone not dressed each week to make way for all three QB's to get a helmet and jersey.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
You're moving much to fast here max. Now Prescott and the picks is better than Goff? It's been TWO games. How about slowing down.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
He said "may". Not "will be". And it was right at the draft after all the hype. No sale.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
It doesn't matter who is listed where on a depth chart, Fisher would right now probably pick Mannion. The guy with the #2 designation won't matter.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
They have the possibility to win plenty of games based on those two things. And maybe a few more points wouldn't hurt LOL. Tampa is a very winnable game. I think they pull it out. AZ is another story. They are better than us defensively and they have Carson Palmer. 3-1 after the trip to AZ sounds about right to me.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
They are facing a team that gives up points so clearly a zero or 9 point performance cannot be excused. But I don't see the Rams doing anything different to try to exploit the fact that Tampa is giving up points. IMO they will stuff the Bucs running game, then attack Winston when they have to pass, and on offense they will run the ball while working the short passing game and pick the placeby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Second would be Austin. Those are the easy choices.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
How to make line calls. How to check out of one play into another, since many offenses give the QB the opportunity by having a run and pass play option to choose from. How to pick up tendencies from defenses. How to sniff out a blitz. There are plenty of things. Keenum has a lot of experience, Goff doesn't. Goff has way more ability and his passing skills are obviously way better. But that'by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Because the only time it really clicked was 99-01 and all of those players have retired. LOL Good luck getting that type of talent assembled on one roster again. That was a fluke, lightning in a NFL bottle if there ever was a case of that!!! Boy it was one he11 of a ride though wasn't it my friend.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
He's been in the top half of the league several times, and in the top 10 at least one time because I remember the Titans were like #5 when they played the Rams in the SB. IMO the problems with the Rams have been two pronged. QB and OC.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Actually that is EXACTLY what has and is happening unless you are ignoring what else they have said. He isn't starting "sooner" according to what you think..........but what is "sooner"? Week 3? Week 6? Before the halfway point of the season? You're defining this only on your terms without taking in everything that has been said by Fisher and Snead. Not to mention alby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
It could be Mannion. Fisher isn't going to rush Goff. He's said it, so has Snead. They don't care what we think or the snarky sports media think. None of them matter.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
He did play his first two seasons, he was brought along slowly.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Kroenke, Demoff, Fisher and Snead do not give one rats azz about what the media or fans think. Anyone thinking they will buckle under pressure hasn't been paying much attention to how any of those guys operate.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
That's just his style and in fact most NFL HC's are the same way. There is a reason the term "coachspeak" exists LOL. Fisher and some others are fluent.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
C'mon 43, it's just a LITTLE bit early to say all that isn't it? Hit the brakes already LOL. Your posterior is showing.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
