Very cool that this stuff can help identify potential problems but Drew there is a VERY important distinction........weed isn't addicting so how can there be an addiction?by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Anyone who wants to stop smoking weed can simply stop. There are no side effects. Alcohol, that's a "substance", it produces symptoms upon withdrawl. Nicotine, same thing. Opioids, same thing. Weed, none. Gordon's problem is that he gets busted, yet mostly gets away with it and isn't smart enough to stop. Plenty of players get nailed and smarter up and grow up and put the bong dby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
I just posted this on another board....... The reason he is going to rehab....... He may have been busted trying to smuggle a pound of weed onto a plane. Josh Gordon smuggling pot Those suspicions may be realized after Scout.com released a report Friday morning that cite sources close to the situation claim that Mr. Gordon and his security detail were nabbed/questioned/detained via thby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Especially when one game was a shutout. The O scored 9, then scored 31. That doesn't mean they will put up 53 this week. IMO we will have a better idea after the game in London, they will have played 7 teams with varying qualities of defense. Maybe even the wek before the London game because 6 weeks in is a good point to do a gravity check.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
The only good RB they have faced was McCoy and he was not doing much until he went against AZ. So you are right Gurley has the chance to blow up this week. And I'd like to see that help TAustin make some big plays and score once or twice too. On the surface without diving in much AZ seems to have an average defense, they aren't yet playing the way they have in the past.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
He isn't struggling with an addiction, he's just to immature and stupid to put down the bong. If this was something stronger that is addictive THEN it's substance abuse. The sentiment that "this could kill him" and that it's "out of his control" is flat out wrong. He could stop smoking weed TODAY if he wanted to. He's been failing tests since college because he'sby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
And a dumbazz........what team would touch this guy right now? He and Johhny Tricycle should go ride off into the sunset together with a bong and a 12 pack of Miller Lite. Weakasses.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
This might help some posters understand this whole thing a little better. :argueby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Palmer had a terrible game in large part because of pressure. The Rams DL will be facing a Cardinals OL that isn't playing well. Hue Jackson has a quote in an article about offense/QB's. He said (paraphrasing ) you aren't trying to defeat the other team you're trying to defeat the other QB. It's sensible, and the Rams have a chance to do that. Palmer isn't going to be comfy in the pocket.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Get on the plane and go home 3-1, however it may happen I don't effing care, just get that win. 3-1 and the division lead would be HUGE for a young team with a bright future ahead of them. If it's a lopsided win or even a game where the Rams mostly control things it'll be more fun, I'd love to see Arians face while Gurley is finishing it off by running out the clock getting first down afteby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Their OL is not playing well so I'm sure the OC is not sleeping well haha. I can see a 5 sack day with some hits mixed in. Palmer can get rid of the ball quickly and he is still really good and can carve up a defense. I have faith in Williams however and something tells me he will be after Palmer all day, especially after his lousy game last week. I'm not sure Palmer is dropping off as farby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't know what to think. Spitting on someone is so disgusting that it calls for a complete ass beating. Wow. Were did you hear that?by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't see a couple of parts of the game. Work and a girl lol.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it would make the OL nervous. Especially if the DL went to the LOS and started to get settled, then he bounced outside and someone else on the edge bounced inside. I'd like to see that.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Because IMO you have been part of what you are unhappy with, and have bashed on and on and on about the same things over and over and over. Like a broken record sometimes. You want change? Then, take the lead! Instead of offering an opinion about how people are ruining the board and how bad the posts are because they don't contain analysis you agree with maybe you should keep an open mindby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
He's below .500 without Palmer in fact. But let's label him a genius anyway. HAHAHAHAHAby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Had that game been 28-24 the ranking might be different. I wonder where they would be ranked if they had won that game like they should have.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Which always gets you tossed.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
And IMO Fisher is doing this one of the right ways, there isn't one right way there are a few and this method has been used by other coaches. Remember that noodle armed guy who couldn't beat out Steve DeBerg? :spintounge About the gnashing of teeth revolving around Keenum.......... Keenum is a backup, yet some people seem to think he is the Rams starter for the long term. I don't get it,by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Had he made contact it would have probably been flagged under the Brady rule. It was a close call. Had the coverage been tighter (good job by TAustin getting that wide open!!!) that play wouldn't have happened, it would have been defended or picked off. I'm a fan of Keenum, he isn't a starter but as a backup you can win more games than most teams can with their backup. I'm glad he uncorkedby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Not throwing to Gurley enough and Higbee not being involved. Two valuable weapons that aren't being used enough. Gurley has 6 targets in 3 games for 3 catches and Higbee has 4 targets in three games for 1 catch. I'm not sure WTH is going on but it's got to stop.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
And the remark you just posted proves it. You wouldn't have said a peep about this call if they had converted it, other than maybe "they got lucky". Even in a vacuum, you're wrong here. And situationally having a 50-50 shot to make it virtually impossible for Tampa to win is a decent risk because even if it fails it's still a very difficult comeback. Time on the clock factors inby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Situationally maybe it wasn't the right thing to do in some poeples opinion, I disagree. Not that these numbers matter for this discussion but here is some fun info..........The conversion rate for two-point attempts over the last 5 years is 50%. 90% of kicks from the range where the extra point is kicked are good. So on 100 kicks you get 90 points. On 100 two-point attempts you score 1by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
So he was running I suppose. Quinn settled everything though.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Should be cell mates.by LesBaker - Game Time Forum
Really what do you expect from a backup QB? If you expect him to be even a bottom tier starter he wouldn't be a backup, someone would be paying him 10MIL to be a bottom tier starter, or he would be a journeyman starter. He's a backup. And a good one. Anytime you can win more games than you lose with a backup that's a HUGE plus.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
He's proven himself to be a good backup, that's critical in the NFL. Why let him walk?by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
