Quoteoldschoolramfan I really think that next years First RD picks are going to be used on a QB. But, don't rule out McVay and the Rams trading for a vet QB. It's going to be very interesting which way the Rams go at QB for Stafford's replacement. This ^^by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I've seen a fair number of his Auburn games. Ram fans are going to love watching this dude carry the rock! If he can earn McVay's trust with blocking assignments, he's going to be a major upgrade to the RB rotation.by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com

Key to Rams draft are the QBs. If either Dart and Sanders are still on the board at #26 then Rams trade back into top of the second round with a QB needy team. If both Dart and Sanders are gone, then Rams have much less chance of trading back. Stay in 1st Round: Max Hairston or Az Thomas Trade Back into 2nd Round: Eli Arroyo or Tre Harris 3rd Round: Ozzy Trapilo or Cam Skatteboby BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
The best possible scenario is for Dart to fall to Rams at 26. I don't want the Rams to draft Dart (he's not elite and doesn't fit our system, imo). But he is the most obvious trade bait for a QB deficient team looking to move from 2nd round back into the 1st round. Especially a team who plans to use an RPO centric offensive scheme. The most obvious may be the Browns at Pick 33 or Colts at Pickby BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I've watched nearly every snap during his time at bama. Agree with your assessment about his short/middle accuracy. I also doubt he could adequately read NFL defenses. What he can do very well, however, is throw deep with some accuracy, use his legs to destroy containment, and be a team leader. I don't see him as 'the guy' to QB a team to a championship. Alyo - The work you and Dead put into the draft every year is fantastic. Sincerely appreciated! Two questions: 1) Every year it seems McSnead "attack" a position group with multiple picks. Last year it was DL. Do you see a scenario where they trade back out of first round to accumulate picks? If so, what position group would they attack (CB, WR, other)? Also, who would be a lby BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I've watched nearly every snap of Milroe's career at Bama. My amateur take - He's an outstanding human being and would be great in a locker room - Elite physical attributes (big arm, superior running ability) - Simply can't read defenses or consistently make accurate short/medium throws, especially with tight windows - He'd be amazingly effective in a roll similar to Taysom Hillby BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd really like to see McVay focus his strategy on gassing the Eagles front 7. Outside zone, sweeps, screens. Make them run sideline to sideline, over and over. After each play get right up to LOS and don't give the D-Line a chance to sub. When they look gassed, hit em with traps, counters, bootlegs. Do this for 3 quarters and their pass rush and tackling will disappear.by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Wonder if Rams could pry Trevor Lawrence away from the Jags. With a year or two under McVay, think he'd be perfect heir apparent to Stafford. IMO, he has elite arm talent, just hasn't been in the right situation to develop. Rams probably don't have the capital this year. But next year?by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Need to give a proper shout out to Rams run defense which has been terrific on 3rd/4th down and short! I know the analytics say offenses should go for it on 4th down and 1 yd to go, but it's a low percentage play to run between the tackles against our D. Speights, in particular, has been outstanding. He seems to always get to the correct gap and hit the RB with authority. I still have nightmby BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
The one thing on D nobody has been talking about. TACKLING During preseason our D was noticeably better at tackling than in recent years. Obviously, a point of emphasis by the D staff. I believe we'll get more stops earlier in drives than we've seen in past. Coupled with an O emphasis on running, we hold Lions to 20 points!by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
My Perfect Draft 1: Latu 2: Fiske (Trade Up) My Prediction 1. C Robinson (Trade Down) 2. Fiske (Trade Up)by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
LOL. For anyone alive the past few years, it's patently obvious that nearly every government, public, and corporate institution has been corrupted. Each one, of course, claiming the moral high ground and claiming those that point out the corruption are conspiracy nuts wearing tin foil hats. The abject lying and propaganda all designed to convince us not to believe our eyes or use our common seby BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Line up in shotgun, run the ball up the middle behind a historically bad IOL. Great play call:embarrassedby BamRam - Game Time Forum
Think Kupp and Stafford read the D differently. Matt expected Coop to break inside.by BamRam - Game Time Forum
This is almost exactly the checklist of adjustments I wanted to see coming out of the bye. The other two items on my checklist were throws down the seam, and DBs aggressively playing receivers rather than covering turf. I was tremendously disappointed to see none of these adjustments last week. But regardless of how well executed the checklist, I was definitely encouraged to see changes this wby BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Why is Reeder 9n this team, much less playing? That goal line effort was absolutely pathetic and soft. Can't cover, can't tackle.by BamRam - Game Time Forum
Believe everyone agrees that the offense is not performing well in any phase. But you're ignoring context. Part of the reason the offense isn't scoring is because they don't have the ball. There is most definitely an issue with the defense consistently giving up long drives and not getting turnovers. This translates into fewer opportunities for the offense to score. Again, not trying to ignoby BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
This is what I was looking for coming out of the bye week. Less interested in win/lose at GB but wanted to see evidence that the coaches had self scouted and made adjustments. Truth was apparent within the first 10 minutes of the game. So, not optimistic any adjustments will be made this week, unfortunately.by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
McCay had 2 weeks to self scout his team and make some hard but necessary adjustments. Didn't do it.by BamRam - Game Time Forum
Just insane! Apparently two weeks to self scout was wasted by McVay.by BamRam - Game Time Forum
Other great trickery would be to use RBs to actually run the ball :lolby BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I've had many of the same observations. But I don't see it as a need to evolve, IMO McVay needs to grow up... in a head coaching sense. The great head coaches, no matter the level, understand that there are many ways to win games (field position game, shoot out game, high risk, low risk, and every variation in between). McVay only wants to win one way and doesn't adjust to the game flow or oppby BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm using Express VPN to try and bypass YouTubeTV local stations. Even though my computer thinks I'm in LA due to VPN, YTTV still showing my local stations and not LA local stations. Any workarounds? Thanks in advance!by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
So happy to finally see the TE be a serious weapon. The TE has been open for three years, ever since D's started with the double A gap blitz. Don't ever remember Goff making the throw Stafford made on third down to convert.by BamRam - Game Time Forum
DLine very poor tackling all through 1st half. Grabbing runners up high. Hope this is just a symptom of not playing preseason...by BamRam - Game Time Forum
Agree. Post injuries I'd cringe at the angles he'd take. Really believe his brain was processing angles based on pre injuries. But his legs just didn't have the lateral agility or explosiveness to get him to the tackle point. He may never regain that pre injury ability again. Hope I'm wrong because he was a very good player before the injuries.by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com
