Because they don't think the Rams will win as many games as you do the are "disgusting idiots" ? I think what you are saying is : I don't like to hear people putting "my team" down. Because they are "my team". I'm identified with them-so they are all idiots. The worst I can say is I hope they are wrong.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
During the Jim Mccay days the same politics were in play but we didn't hear about it like today. What was presented to us on ABC then was a sanitized version of the Olympics but there was some nasty distasteful stuff going on like today.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
If you can get around the commercialism that Rami points out-yes the competitors see it as something so special that they give up so much of their lives to train and face the heartbreak of not making the team. I've been to two Olympics. The first was the 84 Summer games in L.A. The next was the 88 Winter games in Calgary. I'm more of a winter fan and truly enjoyed Calgary games. To be fair-Bradford far outplayed Foles last year and would have been a far stronger mark for the trade up to get Goff-meaning we may not have had to give up so much to get the number one.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
My closest friend is the glass blower for the chemistry department at UCI. With the exception of his laboratory the Rams have taken over the entire first floor of the building he is in. The receivers are next door and the O lineman are directly across the hall with the D lineman in the adjacent classroom. He's a tough arrogant German who has had to yell at a couple of players who have wandered inby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah-sometimes it is magical to make a nice evening of going out. Apollo 13 was a great movie to see in a theater. When that space ship/rocket took off the whole theater shook like a major earthquake. Another movie was a Russian sub movie where the sub came busting out of the ocean. That was really cool in the theater. Now, it seems like its more and more difficult to just get organized and out oby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
I think I will wait before I pass judgment on the facts.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Certainly not like the 84 Olympics in Los Angeles. Then again they don't have anyone like Peter Ueberroth either.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
"The Dodgers are by no means alone with the DL issue." Not alone but BY FAR the worst this league has seen in many a year. Giants are not even close to what the Dodgers have suffered.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Puig, Gonzales, Pederson, Jansen. Puig is through as a Dodger. Gonzales has lost his power. Pederson, notwithstanding his present injuries, isn't growing into what was projected. Jansen has a lot of saves but I always am edgy whenever the game is on the line. OTOH the Dodgers have placed more players on the DL than any National League team over the last 30 years. So just keepby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
There is an island (San Clemente Island) roughly 60 miles off the So Cal coast. There is a protected anchorage on the lee side that seldom is used by boaters for some reason. At night the view is priceless as the stars are fully seen as is the lights in San Diego and L.A. Two weeks ago we were on a dive trip and anchored there for dinner and overnight. A few hours later two boats anchor next to uby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Yeah-I heard that as well. It may have been on one of those ESPN shows where they talk real fast. I think it was Tony Kornheiser who mentioned it and someone else said he had heard that as well. The problem with it is that if it works then you take another off the field and another and.. pretty soon-well you get the idea.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
What the heck is going on with all the injuries to the Dodgers and the Angels? My theory: too much good weather. Tends to soften us all exposing us to preventable injuries. In inclimate weather cities you get tough-cause you have too. Not here-we got sun, beaches, bikinis, etc-and we got plenty of injuries.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Yes-Sounds like his grandaughter is his only connection. He is lucky in a way to have that. And she's a fighter herself. Sounds like a great family.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Just got home from a week away and saw this article. Maybe its already been posted. If so I missed it.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Adam Silver agrees with you-and so do I. However, I remember before free agency in the MLB-like in the 50s-baseball was hugely popular with only a few great teams (i.e. Yankees, Indians, Dodgers, Giants). The great players seemed to be concentrated in a few teams. At least as a kid that's what I recall and then it may be that it was simply hugely popular with me.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
