One of the last I saw was The Outlaw Josey Wales.... and I agree, one of his best. But I think The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is my favorite. And the music track from that movie is incredible.
Unforgiven was one of the most surprising moves of all time for me because it captured the flavor of those older westerns at a time when I thought westerns had disappeared forever then it was followed VERY quickly by Tombstone. Nearly back to back all time best westerns IN THE 90's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW... seldom mentioned and NOT a Clint movie is what I think is an excellent western - "Silverado".
And of course I have to mention, yet again, the greatest movie ever made.... "Lonesome Dove". WHICH, I believe, enabled Unforgiven and Tombstone to even be made. - JamesJM
