its get so tiring with the over sensitivity perfection lol nobody is asking for thatby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
Reynolds just like last week has beaten the defender each time he has to slow for the approaching ball ...the ball needed to be throw to the inside but Goff throws it short and too much outside making Reynolds slow they are gonna hit though ... and we will have a good laugh when you say hey Speed you were right lolby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't believe that was a jump ball at all I mean a 60 yard jump ball? But hey thats me I do think they are working on that pass and my guess you are going to see t again and Goff is going to hit itby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
this morning you said solid last week you said above average your problem is you're caught in between knowing what his weaknesses are and still wanting to buddy up to those who ignore his weaknesses I don't have that issue. When he plays well I say so. When he makes a great play or throw I say so. When he has a QB rating of 108 and my eyes are like WTF I say so <shrug> My onlby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
the pass should have been more to the inside and was indeed short... its pretty clear Reynolds fell because he had to slow down for the ball and the defender ran into him knocking him down. The defender was looking back on the ball had he not that could have been pass interference. But clear that is no jump ball especially with the defender trailing the receiver two weeks in a row like that.by Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
.... He seems to be average. Middle of the pack is that going to enough to win a SB... maybe if he gets hot at the right time (think about Flaco and Foles to name two) I really believe the last two weeks should have been take over games for him especially with the way the oline has played and the run game hes getting and McVay kept asking him to sling itby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
I am making the point and have said this previously as well.... that the QB rating doesn't always tell the story just like in the opener against Dallas he played much better than the 70 QB rating he had or the NFCCG where he was obviously better than the 83 rating he had for that game Stop getting hung up on the messenger and talk about the data I presented... if you won't do that then justby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
this is some very interesting data according to pff all other than QBs out graded Goff. The only ones remotely close to as poor a grade was Bridgewater and Rivers who graded 10 points higher we do have to be careful with throwing these ratings out though. I mean Bridgwater did not have McCaffrey, Brady didn't have Chris Goodwin or Leshaun McCoy, Matthews and Jones have limited oby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
cosmetically stats wise he ended up playing well but that didn't match what my eyes saw ... and there are others saying the same thing Goff just missed stuff on his own... and that is reflected in the PFF grade He did play better than those other starts though... so there is that but man his accuracy was way offby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
so for those of us who watched that game thinking how in the world did Goff have a 108 QB rating here is the grade PFF gave him maybe the truth is somewhere in between... but I thought the 108 Qb rating was purely cosmetic Goff is going to have to play much better... starting Sunday because Miami has playmakers and can score you've been really quiet on Edwards the last several weeks mby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
AR - if so did he get reps? They can really use him down the stretch I will need to watch to see how Lewis did... he's such a freakish athlete and I know he had the one splash playby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
I understand Miami wanting to strart Tua but man Fitz is probably the better choice going up against the Rams defense the bye is perfect... right on timeby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
and Florida Ram responded to it with Good job Jared of course so busy worrying about someone criticizing Goff you don't even realize he is Goff's biggest supportedby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
that's how you want to see a good defense play against bad offenses here my issue with the defense... they feel like they have areas to improve Against two very good teams the Bills for a half and the 49ers also for a half and then the closing (and lets face it the Niners were limited in that game) they got eaten up that is fueling some doubt for me ... I just want to see more against beby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
Florida Rams is one of Goff's biggest supporters... there isn't a bigger one stop trying to paint him as anti-Goff just because you don't agree with him that Goff was on the hot seat/center stage (not yelling just saying you are making assumptions) sorry FL I know you can defend yourself but jeezeby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
he doesn't normally miss on some of the passes he has missed the last two weeks I'm not sure whats going on with him <shrug> We won... thats whats importantby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
thats why I said forget the qb rating remember how against the Cowboys he had a QB rating in the 70s but we all knew he played way better than that... or in that NFCG he had a QB rating of 83 but anybody with eyeballs could see he played way better than that well the opposite happened tonight... he missed so badly on some of the throws. The one to Brown the deep shot to Woods on the seconby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
So I'm going to give you a chance to walk this back On the Rams first series Goff went deep to Reynolds on the very same route and got the very same coverage as they got against the Niners Still think that was a perfect 50/50 pass? They need to work on that thing lol (:D :peaceby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
he just said last week he was average at best then lectured me because I said he could have thrown a better pass to Reynolds lolby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
no worries though the Rams won... and thats whats importantby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
they got blown up last year against good team Ravens, Steelers, Cowboys, even that second 49ers game they got good heat on Goff but he played well anyway they haven't been close to being blown up by anyone through 7 weeks... we are done with the oline being a problem there is no comparison to either version of the line last yearby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
very good in fact last week... the last 3 weeks the Rams oline has bee killing it... really all seasonby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
but you're right and it works a lot too.... its just when it doesn't it looks terribleby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't get it Just run the ball with your RBsby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
it's a beautiful development 150+ yards rushing tonight pass protection really good... did they win sometimes absolutely.... did they blow up Goff and Woods a couple of time? They sure did But the Rams won way more often... and dominated them overall Very nice to see and we don't need to see anything else... we know what we have now So all of this collapsed oline and bad oline and aby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
but we really going to find out more about them when those QBs/offenses get tougher I hated the way the Rams defense played int he first half and crunch time last week against SFby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
no way the Rams go far with the qb playing like that and I don't care what his qb rating was it is what it is... but the QB we have seen the last two weeks with the oline and run game just won't get us very far at all in the famous words of max just last week Goff is an above-average QB at bestby Speed_Kills - RamsFootballFans.com
