thats why I said forget the qb rating
remember how against the Cowboys he had a QB rating in the 70s but we all knew he played way better than that... or in that NFCG he had a QB rating of 83 but anybody with eyeballs could see he played way better than that
well the opposite happened tonight... he missed so badly on some of the throws. The one to Brown the deep shot to Woods on the second or thrid series... that deep flutter ball to Reynolds again (the same patter he threw last week). Causing the Rams to use a TO on their second series or there would be a delay of game
Yet Sean kept coming back to him... I knew they would go back to the quick passing game unlike last week and he opponent dictated that but Goff wasn't nearly as good as the QB rating. I knew the Rams oline would more than hold their own and they did even better than I anticipated so the fact it didn't translate into a cleaner game for Goff... is surprising
It was a helluva lot better than his first two games against the Bears so there is that and we won!!!! But man his accuracy was so off especially his deep ball
