Maybe you guys had heard about this place.... I hadn't, but I was fascinated after seeing this article. No way could ever live there. Then again, if it was all I'd ever known.... At first I thought it was kind of weird that Aaron was being interviewed by his wife, but she actually did a great job. I've never heard Aaron talk that much in one sitting and sound so comfortable doing it. I learned some things about him that I didn't know before. It was a nice window into who he really is. King Charles was being treated for an enlarged prostate, that's true; however neither he or Buckingham Palace has revealed what type of cancer he has. I've searched high and low for an article or news report which states what his particular cancer is ... and I can't find one. All the reports state is that Charles was diagnosed with cancer. Interesting to me that Buckingham Palace won't say what type of cancer either of them has. I understand that they don't have to tell if they don't want to... what I don't understand is why not? They don't want people to speculate about them but by not saying another word about it they've left people no choice but to speculate. People appreciate their honesty in announcing "I have cancer aby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
I've always wondered about that myself.... so I went searching for an answer. I found some comments from folks on Reddit who said they have knowledge about how this stuff is done, most from personal experience. I've never jumped into a pool, lagoon, lake, ocean, river or any other body of water in my entire life. I can't swim! I might walk down the pool steps into waist deep water. That's as far as I "jump", sad to say. I think I may have told this story on The Pub once before: When I was in college, I worked at a Girl Scout camp in Taunton, Massachusetts for 2 summers. I bought a pair of Sketchers for my 7 yr old grandson at Famous Footwear on 12/23/23 and they were $61.00. I realize that's less than what YOU paid, but I think that's kinda pricey for a little kids' shoes! Then I bought a pair of New Balance athletic shoes for my daughter a week after Christmas and they were $87. The price you paid sounds about right these days for the average adult athleticby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub

Sandra was always vague about what her job was in the British army and for good reason. I'm pretty sure she worked for British Intelligence perhaps as a spy. Remember her on the train in episode 8 when the German soldier asked her for her papers? She was dressed like a scullery maid. She responded in French and he looked at her papers before throwing them in her face. A couple of scenes lateby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
I'm guessing he wouldn't have been happy about it. He was married with an infant son and from what I've read he was a devoted husband who was married to Jean for 37 years before she passed away. He married again 2 years later and that marriage lasted 38 years. Liberties were also taken in the depiction of some of the men and even some of the events in Band of Brothers as well. We watched the final episode last night. I could have sworn that Bucky said he couldn't wait to get home to his wife and son but I thought the notes on the real Bucky at the end said he met his wife after the war and that he married her two weeks after meeting her. He has 2 kids that live with him in L.A. and 2 other kids from a former relationship who live in Pittsburgh. He spent his entire spectacular as a Ram and we were lucky to have him. . This day has been looming since SB 56 so it should come as no surprise. It's just hard to say goodbye to the great ones. It could happen. Rams drafted Greg Zuerlein from po-dunk Southwest Missouri in 2012 the same weekend they fired kicker Josh Brown. I remember Billy Devsney saying the fans would really like this guy. I think some had their doubts about him cause nobody had heard of him. Zuerlein started for the Rams as a rookie, did well, and the rest is history.by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com

The "Greatest Generation" refers to those who were old enough to fight during World War II, not those who were BORN during World War II. The term “Silent Generation” was first documented in a 1951 Time magazine article, which claimed that the most startling fact about this generation was its silence: “By comparison with the Flaming Youth of their fathers and mothers, today's youngerby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub

We watched it this morning. I didn't see the original with Richard Chamberlain and I've not read the book so for me it was totally "fresh".
