Quoteden-the-coach Quotemerlin Everyone mentions the Rams because McVay. He has a golden touch with QBs. What QB has McVay actually developed? I think he's given credit for Cousins in Washington. But I wonder if that was more Shanahan & Gruden given that McVay hasn't shown a talent for QB development in L.A.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNewMexicoRam If you want someone on the practice squad, pick a late round QB or sign an UDFA. Because everyone is a wanna-be GM.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Interesting. Similar result from the post FA mock at nfltraderumors. Turner goes early and some CB's but mostly QB's & WR's leaving us Latu. Online mocks aren't the last word, but enough opinions tend to form some trends. Sounds like Latu or Verse aren't out of the question.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Seriously, it's only for one year and we can always cut him mid-season if it isn't working out.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not many backup QB's have been to 3 Super Bowls, winning 2 and as a starter in the 3rd.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
This guy says we were showing interest in Lassiter at the Georgia Pro Day Cornerback Kamari Lassiter timed the 40 anywhere from 4.52 to 4.55. He grades as a Day 2 selection and is getting a lot of attention from the Los Angeles Rams, Green Bay Packers and Tennessee Titans.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Thank you for the reply. WR is going to be an interesting call this year, was curious about your reasoning. Much appreciated.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Wouldn't be a Rams draft if we didn't take a small school DB.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRidgewood Ram You know, the great Brian Allen who is so great. Shelton not getting any run either for that matter. :couch Shelton signed with the Bears. Reunites with Waldron.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteramBRO Quote3030 Sounds like Wilson might be in for a 1 year stay in Pittsburgh. (LOL!) And then what? Pay Fields $XX millions of dollars in 2025 after playing in 3 2024 preseason games? That's when you sign Jimmy Garoppolo!by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Why a high pick on a WR? Just because the class is so strong it would be foolish to pass? Insurance against injury? Looking to replace Kupp and/or Tutu in a year or two? Desperate need for a deep threat who isn't 5'8, 165? None/all of the above? Currently we're 5 deep at the position, do we go 6 deep or is someone on the bubble? Could we find that guy with a day 3 pick?by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com

Where have you seen AJ at 335? He's listed at 285 on the Rams site. Great if he's gotten bigger.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Obviously the loss of AD is massive, but we've survived the loss of Dickerson, Youngblood. Bruce, etc. The team will adapt. Other players will step forward(or not).by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNewMexicoRam Ah, those were the days..... lol. First thought I had was "Russell Wilson will sleep well tonight..."by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Edge is still my #1 choice. I'd go DT at #2 then CB. Despite the strength of the class, now I'm not sure we go WR until the 5th or 6th round.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Smart move by both sides. We get a very experienced backup who knows a version of this offense & Jimmy G gets a chance to rebuild his reputation. I approve.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
True. He was drafted for Fisher's aggressive 4-3 and would have broken even more records if we'd stayed in that base.. He was so good that he could still cause havoc in the change to the 3-4 base, but that's not a defense intended for inside pass rush. Then again, he pretty much re-defined the role of the DT.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAlbaNY_Ram Is there a DT the Rams might want to draft at 19? Or one they might want to trade up for? Or perhaps someone available in a trade? Maybe Michigan's Kris Jenkins in the second round?by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I assume Kobie takes AD's spot, Brown in the middle, big void on the other side and depth issues. Is Murchison still on the team? Does Hoecht move back to the line?by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Especially after you told the team you were coming back. One of the greatest ever, can't replace a guy like that.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Normally I'm not a fan of trading up, but as I see it we have 2 "must fill" positions: backup QB & Edge. The first can be filled by a FA vet. The FA market for Edge is empty and I can't see us trading for a vet without paying through the nose or impacting our cap. So if we want to land a starting Edge in the draft, it'll likely have to be a trade-up. Agree that Edge, CB, WRby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Those rainbow, rounded, iron-on, rubber looking, numbers are the worst. I remember having a t-shirt with writing like that in the late 70's, eventually they peel off in a blob. Might as well add-in sparkles and unicorns!by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Nicely summersized 43. They've done a good job filling some holes, and strengthening the OL. Still a lot of questions. The slow Kendricks or the mysteriously disappearing Durant at opposite corner? The DL is undersized and Bobby Brown is a Free Agent next year. They lost out on 290 pound Malcolm Roach, so I'm guessing we'll see a DL in the draft. As noted, Hoecht is a band-aid. Earlier this week, the #Rams and OT Joe Noteboom agreed to a reworked deal to lessen his 2024 cap hit of $20M, per sources. New deal includes nearly $7M in guarantees and allows him to earn up to $14M. Noteboom is now healthy and is eyeing a resurgent season.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Demoff won't give us throwbacks until we all submit and admit that the current uni's are the most amazing jerseys ever designed and that he is a genius.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
When they add Williams and Parkinson that should push 2 salaries off the bottom of the top 51, so that will add $1.6 to the cap, Which isn't rally significant, but it helps. Adding the draftees will push the rest of the $795, 000 contracts and maybe some of the $915,000 making some of the drafted players a fiscal wash. There's been talk to renegotiating Noteboom. Would he play for less if hby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
He's being brought in by Waldron as a guy who knows the offense and can teach it. But this sure says something about the quality of QB's in the league.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe put him back on the line where he belongs? Especially if we aren't bringing Jonah Williams back. If he's Edge insurance I would hope we can do better.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
