Agree with Speed on this one. No doubt McVay and Goff have had this circled since the schedule came out... both want to get the sour taste of the Super Bowl loss out of their mouth. Definitely more important for Goff... if he plays the way he did against the Niners and Dolphins our season could be done quickly. A good game plan from McVay with some adjustments to the Belichick's is important, andby BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Here's some more for you Speed because I know you like evidence to back up claims. You stated that... "Jared Goff does not read the field... he is always looking to dump the ball off and doesn't even give basic routes the chance to open up because he's always looking to dump the ball." That was certainly not the case against the Cards, and this breakdown offers a couple examples. I'll tby BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Jourdan makes no mention that Jared made the wrong read here. She simply states she's nitpicking and that the opportunity for deep ball opportunities exist within the offensive scheme. She also states Goff is already in mid throw, under pressure, had to get ball off quickly, made a great throw, and got the first down... which is the priority in this situation... as Goff lets the ball go Kupp breaby BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
So Speed, you were wrong on this particular play or you're sticking to your guns? I will admit that I normally enjoy reading your posts along with everyone else's, but it's okay to admit you're wrong every now and then... didn't mean to ruffle your feathers.by BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, I knew you'd say that because you're never wrong. I'll stick with the opinion of a guy that actually played QB for us.by BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff did not miss Kupp on that play. He was already in the process of throwing to Higbee when Kupp broke free.by BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Don't tell me chill... I'm entitled to my opinion must like you.by BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Who cares if Goff knows where the sun sets as long he wins games. Some of these conversations amaze me!by BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
According to ESPN Playoff Machine... if Rams win out and Seattle loses to Vikings, Rams and 49ers (or any other combination of three losses) Seattle still make the playoffs over us with both teams at 11-5. Looks like Vikings are our only chance to make the playoffs unless the Hags collapse.by BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Rich Hammond broke down the tiebreaker scenario in the The Athletic earlier this week. (see attachments) His scenario includes the Rams going 3-1 the rest of the way given our win today and the Vikings 2-3, which gives us the tiebreaker based on common opponents. We'd win the tiebreaker if we go 4-0 and the Vikings go 3-2 as well.by BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff doesn't have a game winning drive... Goff can't carry the team without Gurley and Kupp... and a half dozen other criticisms. Regardless of what happens in two weeks, Goff has proven he belongs. Jared Goff outplayed Drew Brees for the balance of the game. Brees after the first quarter was 16/25, 138 yards (5.5 y/a), 1 TD, 1 Int, 75.0 QB rating. Goff after the first quarter was 22/28, 2by BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Incorrect... watch the replay. He had to throw it before Gurley even looked for the ball.by BayAreaRamFan - Game Time Forum
He didn't miss Gurley at the goal line. Goff had to throw it before the LB sacked him because we didn't pick up the blitz. He's also had two passes that should have been touchdowns.by BayAreaRamFan - Game Time Forum
And the play Aikman was talking about McVay, the play clock was below 15 seconds when they broke the huddle. Goff making his own adjustments with 10 seconds left on the play clock.by BayAreaRamFan - Game Time Forum
Great post 43... I rarely post and love to just sit back and read all the interactions. It's so entertaining! However, I do have something to add in regard to the previous posts on this board comparing Goff to Cousins, bad games, head to head matchups and whether or not he's getting paid. Comparing Goff to Cousins is ridiculous other than the fact both QB's improved under McVay's guidance. Cby BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com

My perspective is just fine. Tough to complain when we're putting an ass whooping on them. If was a one or two possession game then maybe you'd have a point.by BayAreaRamFan - Game Time Forum
Obviously someone peed in your Cheerios this morning... lol. Everything you've described... isn't that what good teams are supposed to do to crappy teams? Force turnovers, convert two turnovers in the red zone for TD's (a weekly complaint by everyone on this board), run the two minute drill to get points, come out in the 3rd quarter and drive down the field for a TD... the glass is definitely morby BayAreaRamFan - Game Time Forum
I'm with you Shaky. Yes, Goff has had a couple bad throws today and a couple bad games... name a QB in the league that hasn't. I think he's proven over the course of the season he's the real deal. I'll take 24-8 the last two years over 7-9 any day.by BayAreaRamFan - Game Time Forum
The mojo looked pretty damn good on that driveby BayAreaRamFan - Game Time Forum
All night long and every week the same thing... Goff has been subpar, McvAy has called a bad game, scored with too much time on the clock, etc... but it's very entertaining!by BayAreaRamFan - Game Time Forum
That's my point... Cooper called fair catch and was really late waiving off our blockers. It was a freak play the ball hits his foot.by BayAreaRamFan - Game Time Forum
Give me a break... freak playby BayAreaRamFan - Game Time Forum
Don't you think Bones and McVay would have chosen that person already? Let's face it, there aren't 30 reliable kickers in the league. We're spoiled by Zuerlein and Ficken may be the best that's left out there. His last three extra points looked good.by BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com

What would any of the young QB's look like with the crap we had around Goff last year?by BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
His kickoffs weren't so bad with only one not in the end zone and two touchbacks. With three XP's made after missing the first XP and the FG, I bet McVay and Bones stick with him. They like guys that are mentally tough... that showed some mental toughness. Their just aren't many guys out there, and Ficken must have shown something over the other 11 guys we tried out this past week. Here are Fby BayAreaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
