First off, I think the RAMS are a much better offensive team than the Cowboys. But the big advantage? Because of the way McVay has treated the preseason in that past I believe the lack of preseason games is a big advantage for them. Remember the criticism McVay received last year for not playing starters more and the team looking a little slow out of the gate? Well, all 32 teams had to go witby ABQRam - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRams43 Quotemax QuoteRams43 I think I’m gonna bookmark this thread and just trot it back out come November. My gut tells me that Van is as NFL ready as any rookie WR coming in this year. Fast, soft hands, route running Wr’s that can get separation in 1-2 seconds don’t grow on trees. Why waste my time trying to change your minds before Van has even seen the field? QuoteRams43 QuoteRAMpant Defense Callahan makes a lot of sense. McVay and Callahan have good chemistry from the Washington days. McVay needs someone he trusts and respects to bounce ideas off of and keep him centered. Plus, Callahan is the O-line guru. Why don't they keep Wade around and find a young heir that Wade can groom? The defense needs a young and energetic guy to light a fire in themby ABQRam - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM Truly, I don't. These are professionals... cocky, (that have to be)....and they go into every game thinking they are the best... Brag, boast, smack talk.. it ain't going to work....although often attempted.... EXCEPT... Deacon Jones. It worked, and to my knowledge he didn't even say all that much, at the time anyway. Merlin didn't boast.. nor Lamar, or Rosey, or Brown, oby ABQRam - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotebillster1212 Why does McVay continue to play TG3 when he is tip toeing to the line and getting nowhere? Why not give Henderson a chance at least? why does he have this blind loyalty to guys that hurts the team? What I can't understand is if he is worried about his knee why did he keep him in the game when it was way out of hand?by ABQRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote73Ram Then they should sit his butt down....even with a good thumb he wasn't doing much I agree, they tried to let him go and it is clearly affecting his throws way too much.by ABQRam - Game Time Forum
QuoteramBRO QuoteABQRam But he injured the thumb on his throwing hand...that isn't helping. Par for the course for an NFL QB. That's no excuse. An injured thumb on a quarterback's throwing hand is no excuse for being off on your throws? I'm willing to bet a few QB's would disagree with that.by ABQRam - Game Time Forum

On both sides of the ball. On defense we are getting zero pressure, they are running through us like turnstiles, and to top it off the Cowboy receivers are running free. But the Rams are just getting manhandled. Why? Is our defense really that weak? I didn't think so which is why I don't understand. On offense we can't run (we are getting stuffed) and we can't protect very well.by ABQRam - Game Time Forum
I finally get to watch a game so I will only check in off and on...but I truly expect that RAMS to win this game tonight.by ABQRam - Game Time Forum

Maybe they will incorporate a little of George Allen's Over the Hill Gang model...in fact, they already are. Weddle, Matthews, Whit, Talib...although Whit is a little expensive for the model, but you get the idea. QuoteMamaRAMa of games rather than coming out and playing a complete game. Sometimes it works out when we make adjustments and "do better" the 2nd half, but we don't always. I want them to come out firing on ALL cylinders and play a friggin' complete game with poise and confidence.
