Quotesstrams I completely forgot about that guy - don't recall his name being mentioned once by announcers or board members.. Same did he even see the field in the Niners season ender when we had subs galore? I don't think so, we might need to throw him in the Stetson Bennett stack of completely wasted draft picks.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
I have no doubt if Raheem had his drothers he would be more aggressive too. The type of defense we play is the type of defense McVay wants. In fact it has been stated keeping the Fangio/Staley defense was a demand from on high to Raheem, he had never deployed that defense before. So all the heat that Morris gets is misdirected because if McVay wanted a blitzburg defense the Rams would deploy one.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Makes me wonder if Rams could somehow take advantage of the Saints current difficulties and acquire a player on great terms? Hmmmmm… Cam Jordan has always had a lot of Hollywood in him, for a short term rental to close out his career.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Since we have been eliminated, I was looking at Over the Cap to see our cap space in relation to other contenders. This isn't directly Rams related but I realize the Saints have been putting off paying for kicking the can down the road since Drew Brees but over the cap says they are 82 million over the cap next year. How is that possible and how much longer can they delay paying the piper? I knowby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesstrams Too many dropped passes, sacks on third down knocking them out of FG,range.. whyncouldntnwenhavenplayed either of these teams last night? hindsight why did we want the Lions so bad when Dallas was the opponent we should have desired. We discounted Goff and feared Dak when it should have been the other way around.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteEkern55 Greg Gaines was at the bottom of that pile. Awesome proving there is more to him than the AD effect and our great scouting department.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit QuoteRamsDynasty. . . especially finish up that Monarch/Godzilla show. Did you catch the film? Godzilla Minus One Best human characters in a Godzilla movie EVER. Might be my 2nd favorite Godzilla movie ever but the one that even non Godzilla fans can appreciate. I don't do movies in theaters much anymore but I am glad I did that one.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesix2stack How about Hoecht? No I'm not joking. He has the size and speed to rush the passer from LDE. Rams need to reassign him to strictly a pass rusher ala Greg Gaines or Fox, and acquire a player with the requisite coverage and Rush skills to man the outside linebacker position opposite Young. It is shocking and sad they didn't have anyone better suited to drop back in coverage on the rosby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
He held him check after he had time to study what they were doing at the half. The real issue was the offense didn't figure out how to muster a TD after the half.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
That the number one next young offensive genius is the OC of the Lions? I would assume he had formations deployed and routes in place IF the Rams just went zero blitz crazy. Since AD was attracting triple coverage you would think our other pass rushers would be as good as a blitz. Regretfully they were not. Our secondary is substandard so leaving them on an island was more dangerous than not presby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
I figured Vita Vea was a great candidate, modern day Vince Wolfork.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Gator it's a numbers game. I saw multiple plays where there were 2-3 guys assigned to AD. If you have a other pass rusher that might require a double team, and you can't leave the Conductor and Monster Zero unblocked, this hinders your offense when 7 of theirs are assigned to 4 of ours. That leaves 7 of our backers and secondary to handle 4 people in routes. An elite pass rusher young Von Millerby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
I have been so sports centric the last two months, I fell behind on all the non sports shows. Now I guess I catch up, especially finish up that Monarch/Godzilla show. I will also transition into basketball, college and NBA as well. Looking forward (mildly) to the UFL, go Birmingham Stallions.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Yesterday, despite all the talk today of Lion's HC Campbell's aggressiveness, devised and then adjusted his game plan to erase AD. There were plays in which AD had three players assigned to him. Severely limiting AD'S ability to influence the game. Conversely the Lions only had one game wrecker as well in their front seven, Hutchinson. Yet I didn't notice any adjustments to eliminate his effectiveby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
When you are as outmanned as badly as Morris has been all season, the fact that teams plow through us on opening drives is not surprising. The fact that the Rams made adjustments and stopped the bleeding says great things about him as opposed to Dallas DC Quinn who got plowed the entire game, with more talent at his disposal. Yet he is still the top HC candidate for the Seabags while Raheem's HCby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteStafford9 We were truly out manned, but they exploited the scheme. Why was Hoect constantly in coverage? Sadly because we had no better option on the roster. If the Rams had a Kuekley on the roster but was on the bench in lieu of Hoecht then sure blame Raheem. However there is only so much chicken salad you can make from chicken $#@+.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
On McVay or Morris after this season. The only thing that can be criticized is a failure of imagination. I don't think McSnead or Morris could have imagined the NFC would play out and a genuine opportunity for a deep playoff run was possible this year. Therefore they made personnel decisions that doomed them yesterday.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotedodgerram There are other ST coaches in this league (or college) than what the Rams currently field. It does not have to be Bones, just bring in someone better than what we have. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have agreed initially but the Ram's ST are such a mess, I am not sure if an average ST coach can fix it. If Bones costs twice the highest paid ST coaches' salary, Kronke can pay it.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Kronke gave McSnead a mandate, Super Bowl winning team by time Super Bowl in LA. Goff wouldn't have been ready by then. Why travel cross country by bus when you can fly? Can he develop one? He couldn't draft one, Bennett. I don't know if he has the patience to.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Hindsight being 20/20 if McSnead knew a wildcard playoff season was possible they wouldn't have gutted the defense so completely. People predicted a historically bad defense this year looking at the personnel. It wasn't that. We found a couple of keepers. Morris showed the ability to adjust his game plan after halftime to get his bad news bears undermanned squad competitive by the end of the gameby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAlbaNY_Ram I certainly don't know the whole story, but the time Bones called a fake punt from somewhere around the Rams 20 yard line seemed to really piss McVay off. It would piss me off too BUT seeing what a poop show Special Teams have been since he left sometimes you have to swallow a bitter pill. If you don't want to have to bring him back you should have fielded at least an average ST uby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Swallow some ego, and go make Bones the highest paid ST coach in the league and bring him back. ST needs to be overhauled. So go get the best and stop experimenting with unproven ST coaches. I don't know what went down between McVay and Bones and I don't care.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Lions stocked with pro bowl caliber players and elite OL held to 3 points in the 2nd half by AD, EJ, 2 pretty good rookies and a bunch of below average players in the secondary. How does the genius Johnson with St. Brown, Williams, LaPorta, Gibbs, Montgomery, Goff, Sewell and that OL only score 3 points in the 2nd half??? On that defense? Morris is a guy with a pair of 10's that almost beats a guby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
If trying to beat the Rams, you look at what team does it the most successfully? That would be the Niners and looking at any Niners Rams game toss see how they do it you will notice all the head hunting cheap shots. One might conclude that is their secret sauce against us and try to emulate it.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteramBRO QuoteRamsDynasty QuoteramBRO QuoteRamsDynasty The soft zone at least this year was a necessity because we saw the Rams play tight coverage tonight and get juked and burned repeatedly as well. I believe it is a McVay edict, play soft for prolonged drives and maybe eventually AD, breaks free. I know it's been mentioned often, but... DAMN! It's frustrating seeing AD get double/triby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemerlin Speed at wideout who can perform in that X role is a need. LT of the future is a need. But the holes on defense are far worse. Merlin I have heard the need for diversity at WR before. It was used some say by Kupp to justify moving on from Bobby Trees for that bum from the Bears. However if you don't go back to Tony Horne or AZ Hakim, I can't recall a consistent home run threat oby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
To realize he lacks in RZ production and task his OC with creating RZ and two point plays different from the typical McVay design. Also to task his OC to rein him in when he gets too pass happy. That being said there isn't one I would trade him for.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
He would alleviate the need for better RZ schemes and would just dominate via his athleticism. What elite WR wouldn't want to work with Stafford? Mahomes is elite and can get you wins. Stafford puts his faves in record books.by RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
Does McVay just attack the red zone and two point conversations via schematics as opposed to actual plays? Some teams seem to have designed plays, ala the Philly special, while the Rams seem to just play using their unsuccessful concepts in the red area, the fades and picks. Do we need a RZ coach that designs plays that are maybe different than typical McVay concepts? I watch other teams and am lby RamsDynasty - RamsFootballFans.com
