interesting comparison. I would liken him to a Marshall Faulk...but I don't know if Everett was born or even knows who Marshall Faulk is. lol Maybe it's to help Weddle land a coaching spot once he retires!!!by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
I can't reconcile that statement. So if it's a flare up, you don't list it on the report. Sounds sound the Bill Belichick school of injury reports.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
who knows. He played so maybe he was just dinged a bit. It's water under the bridge. I know one thing...a healthy Todd Gurley sure would have come in handy during the Super Bowl.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
not to be confused with MJD. Anything mentioned in this thread has a severe element of speculation. None of us know the whole story...we are given enough to speculate...that's it. We base it off reports and unless you are Todd Gurley or his doctor...or the Ram's brass, my guess is we just don't really know all. And before we go to the "Well McVay said...", he hasn't been forthcominby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
is like the old saying..."someone has their panties in a wad." I mean are we here to talk football or be wordsmiths? People should understand the point. I see no difference in the two statements. It reminds me of being politically correct.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Let Goff show progress before he gets that monster deal...which will undoubtedly overpay him...at least in the formula I use.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
and then again I don't. He makes everyone else better...I agree. But he is also a different type of receiver. He will see fewer targets based on the offense we run. Woods and Kupp are not the deep threats Cooks is. And, his hands are as good as the others. And, with Kupp coming off an ACL, I think he plays an even more important role. He also seems to be the only receiver who canby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com

and...of course, no matter how much we explain ourselves...no matter how much we caveat...no matter how much we say "I'm not saying...", people get all worked up. I remember the old days of the board...when we had some real doozies in regard to disagreements and discussions. The disagreements were mostly based on analysis...and not viewed as "Ram hating" or "playerby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Of posts hammering at your position. I concur...I think Wentz has more talent but the health is a massive issue. --- Update on Dak Prescott. He is working with his QB coach, Jon Kitna. They say Kitna has fixed the footwork issue of Prescott and Prescott has slimmed down. They are saying he has been laser accurate! The Cowboy media and fan base crack me up!!!by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
it was ok to just "show" play action without any real hard fake. As the season wore on, that didn't do so well. For example the jet sweep success wasn't so successful towards the end of the year. Like I've posted elsewhere, McVay needs to mix it up more with formations and better deception.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Aaron Donald, last I checked, played for the Rams. It's not about preference. The Panthers were an "x" type of team and and when they signed McCoy they became an "x + 1". Math tells you x + 1 > x. The Panthers are now x + 1. These responses are head scratchers.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
I have a suggestion for Jared Goff. I was watching some video on Baker Mayfield. One thing that Mayfield does nicely is play action and, in general, playing out a fake looking one way...pumping...then throwing a screen the other way. Goff's play action is like he's going through the motion and not really trying to "fool" the defense. He sticks the ball out but is 3 yards away frby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
coming off surgery. Here is the latest article. Cam Newton takes big step in recovery from shoulder surgery Larry Brown Sports 4 days ago Cam Newton has taken a big step in his recovery from shoulder surgery, according to a report. Newton has begun throwing overhand with a regulation-sized football, the Charlotte Observer’s Jourdan Rodrigue reported on Twitter Thursday. Newtonby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
is Carolina better off or worse off with McCoy? I say better off...therefore, the game just got tougher.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
I just don't see it. With Kupp out, Woods has been moved to the slot which has shown to be a game changer. Reynolds really stepped up and did a nice job but it just wasn't the same without Kupp. Third and short/medium was almost automatic with the Rams but it wasn't towards the end of the season last year. If Everett is so versatile, why can't he move inside? Often he is placed outsideby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com

bottom line...you lost a lot of starters. It's not so much what they did vs. what they didn't do. They apparently are going to rely on a lot of young guys stepping up.\ I liked the signing of Bortles. I liked the vet signing of Weddle. I liked the vet signing of Matthews. I liked extending Fowler. I liked losing Sullivan. I liked losing Joyner. I liked the drafting of Henderson. I lby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com

that's good enough for me. As for people saying these "type of QBs" never work in the NFL...well...he isn't just that type. But...mobility is playing a huge role in the QB position going forward. IMO, mobility will be a prerequisite...if not already. A guy like Marc Bulger would not survive today's NFL.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
I was lucky enough to watch this guy in high school and for a guy who can light up a team with the run...he would run unless it was a called play or there was just nobody open. I never in my life saw any high school QB have more poise than Murray did in the pocket. It was truly amazing. And, I'll reiterate...he is an outstanding baseball player and has his slide down pat...and he doesn't dby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
it's college football. Two..he runs with purpose not panic...big difference. AND...he protects himself...and for a guy who ran for 1,000 yards...you never saw him take a big hit.
