Chris Simms' Final Regular Season NFL Team-by-Team Grades Los Angeles Rams Offense: When the Rams made their jump to acquire Jared Goff, it was under the premise they’d complete their backfield for the next decade or so. It looks like that was a false premise; Todd Gurley regressed so far from his Rookie of the Year status that he was unrecognizable on film all season. Talk about delusional. 8-) And THAT is the problem right there. The acceptance of mediocrity with this team. Its pervasive among this roster.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com

We weren't talking about the merits of the Rams "front office" rather scouting which is what Bouds was doing. Everybody knows assistants (position coaches) workout players and are apart of the evaluation process, that is/was not the point. The point again was whether or not the Rams were influenced by Bouds evaluation...THEY WERE! But its not uncommon, "good front officesby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote9er8er Yours? You're blaming the OL coach for Snisher picking GRob 2nd overall? If that's the case, a thoughtful finger would actually point right back at the knuckleheads who allow assistant coaches to make such decisions. Yes mine and anybody else who pays attention. Quote9er8er Players who lack the ethic, aren't self starters, etc. should be easy to identify before you draft them. The Rams either didn't do their homework or ignored the flaw because of their arrogance and/or need. But he already had a big burning red flag just based on the system he was coming from and you add that on top of it and using the 2nd overall pick on such a player is completely iby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
Some hard decisions need to be made, they have to be able to admit mistakes and move on. This roster can become competitive in no time. Its very clear to me what needs to be done, so I know that coaches more qualified than me can see it. I'm glad that several football coaches can see this is a great opportunity. A great challenge for anyone who is competitive. And if you ain't competby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
you get one player right and that's all you can hang your hat on. Snead should be fired for a lot of reasons, but the most egregious is giving up draft capitol for this guy. Grading a raw LT is bit more nuanced than grading a qb. There are things that can be corrected with lineman more so than qb's. I can evaluate Goff outside of the factors around him. He has been accurate but again, that's not what he's known for.Okay, so are those 10 people going to say how accurate he was today? 26/34 is good but hardly noteworthy. For 6.3 yards/attempt as well. Quotemerlin The Chargers drafted Phillip Rivers in 2004, after two consecutive poor seasons by Drew Brees. In 2002 he had a 17 TD to 16 INT season, followed by a worse outing in 2003 with 11 TD and 15 INT.
