There is something odd about the way Adams plays the game. Some said Eric Dickerson didn't seem to go all out, but he just made everything look easy -- he would blow past people without seeming to be giving 100%. ...is to place the ball an extra yard or two behind the LOS. It's not a big deal to try, for example, a 44 or 45 yard attempt rather than a 43 yard attempt. Very little statistical difference in the slight extra distance. On the other hand, there is a huge statistical difference if your kicks keep getting blocked. I have been saying this since the end of the 2017 season, when he failed to have his team prepared for a playoff game. That is one of McVay's areas of cluelessness. Pickle juice is a better option than Gatorade, but it has a poor balance of electrolytes. The sodium-to-potassium ratio is 57:3 in pickle juice compared to 5:3 in salt tablets (this information is directly from the labels). Having had lots of experience with cramping problems, I cannot understand how any well-informed athlete can miss time due to cramps. I had a long history of severe legs cramps. ...I believe the keys to the outcome of the Eagles game were (1) weaknesses in the interior OL and in the defensive backfield and (2) failures by the coaching staff to make adjustments. To some degree, the weaknesses were due to injuries. The OL might have been fine if the starters had been healthy.
