Other than being more knowledgeable about what Fisher wants, and how and when he wants it implemented during games, I don't think CK will prove to be better than Goff at anything... and the 'more knowledgable' thing I believe will fade quickly as Goff's starts add up. I think Fisher has known since day one of training camp that Goff has more talent. I doubt he ever wavered on that. But Fisher, IMHO, is demanding of strict adherence to 'his way', something Keenum was better at. And I think that 'adherence' is what Fisher is thinking when he says 'best chance to win'. It's been demonstrably proven, however, that 'his way' ain't working... and while I very muby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

this does seem to be the type of situation where Fisher likes to pull something out of a hat. My guess is that the game plan, as far as passing, will be to somewhat go back to the same thing they did early on... very quick hitters, safer routes (in their opinion), taking as much 'read' out of the play as they can. I think the 'bust' screams will be very few if any at all, even if things go very poorly. My point was more in regards to Goff's demeanor on the field. I want to think Fisher and Co. are saying, "don't worry about it kid, we know you've got what it takes... get out there, have fun, do what you do best"... and NOT.... I can see that, believe it possible... but I tend to think it more likely that all that is a couple games, maybe 3 or 4, away... depending on how things go. As you know I don't think Goff being mentally wrecked very likely at all... Fisher, nor the team, would allow that to happen even IF it were possible. I can't see the SK theory, at all. SK has a far grander tool if that was in his head... fire Fisher. I don't see SK meddling in the least with who takes the field... I can see him having a sit down and asking, "What's Up?".... but that's it. Fisher is more difficult to figure out, for me that is. when creating scenes intentionally meant for the violence, IOW... became the focus of the movie rather than the characters, or the plot, or anything else? That's how it came off to me. Like you I felt it was very well acted, filmed, and the plot was good... just ignored too much IMHO. And yes, it was too much for me... but I'm a big baby today. I disagree with most of that, if not all of it. But most vehemently this: It has nothing to do with being 'stupid'.. YOU may consider it that... I do not... it's simply being 'wrong'. That's no argument from me that he's wrong about Goff..we have no way to know that yet... but coaches are 'wrong', to that degree, all the time, every year, and every coach. in truth... even if the plays themselves may be somewhat vanilla I'm quite sure the reads and options are quite intricate compared to High School. I also coached HS Ball... and I would say our offenses did 'show' more different plays that this current Ram's team BUT.... we didn't audible, and we were very specific about who did what and when... we took away as much 'think'un' as we could. :spintby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
