Quote73Ram Great point about Rozebloom's play Reeder would ALWAYS get trucked.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills Stafford was just cold. The announcers kept acting like the Niners were getting pressure but they weren’t. Stafford was just off but pulled it together! Profusely thanking Mother Nature. I think our first two drives should've ended in Whiner picks (thank God Hufanga is playing with the club on his hand). The weather forced McVay's hand and we HAD to run the ball.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
So nice having a LB who can meet a Whiner ball carrier in the hole and stuff 'em!by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemerlin <snipped> Higs isn't an elite pass threat or anything but holy crap have we suffered at TE in his absence. So if he's set to return... That's a big deal. You think so? I mean...I def think it'd be a morale booster. But Higbee was anything but a great player for us last season. Wasn't he banged up for most of the year even before the knee injury? QuoteRamgator Was HOPING to have a few pre game beers tomorrow and enjoy the game. Instead, I'll be blowing my nose as I yell "GO RAMS!" And no cold remedies seem to work for me anymore. Quotepromomasterj We're high (near top, I think) in pressure rate - but 24th in sacks. Pressure's great - but we need QB's on the ground to consistently get off the field. Verse is dominating at times - but not a lot of finishes. 4.5 sacks is pretty 'meh'. And what's going on with Young? Was expecting more of a breakout year from him since he's a 2nd year guy. He has 6 sacks. The eliteby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills <snipped> Nacua is ridiculous... I mean he is the spark plug for the WR group (LOL!) Was at the game sitting amongst a throng of Bills fans. Stafford lofts the sideline pass to Puka who catches it while ever-so-slightly dragging his feet inbounds. Immediately after the play... Bills fan: Nooo waaay!!! Don't let them snap the ball ref! Quotesince68 Of the 80 Ts in the NFL that play regularly, where would you rank him? Havs is an above average RT that I'd place in the top 12 - 15 at his position. QuoteWhat are his strengths/weaknesses? He's a really good run-blocker and, as long as he isn't repeatedly placed in obvious passing situations, can hold his own against most Edges in pass pro. Really big body. Takes awhile forby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Was at the game and thought that was the call, but I didn't have the benefit of any TV analysis of the play. If that was, in fact, the call...I don't think that I've ever seen anything like that before. So, if a DB is caught holding onto a WR's arm and the WR takes a whack at the DB to get him off...that's a foul on both? This literally happens on every deep ball. 1) IMO, the only time his offense somewhat resembles itself this season is when Tutu is serving as the 3rd WR (and he's targeted a couple of times). His speed needs to be respected and helps to loosen the defense so that Kupp and Puka can work the short and intermediate routes. 2) Demarcus Robinson OTOH is not nearly as fast as Tutu and can't stretch the defense. As a consequence, the field beby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
My assumption is that you've contemplated this for awhile. If that's the case, I wish you well in your endeavors. If, however, this just pooped into your head today...I'd merely ask that you take a day to sleep on it. It's been a frustrating season for sure...and even when we're enjoying a good one, complaints and grievances seem to outnumber the positive and moderate posts. I like Mayer, but have a couple of questions for you: 1) Yes, the Raiders drafted Brock Bowers and are exploiting his receiving talents. But are you sure they don't want to run 2-TE sets (where Mayer's run-blocking prowess would be more valued)? 2) It's been reported that the Rams and McVay were interested in moving up to draft Bowers this past draft. I suspect that it was more for his receby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 Crap shoot this time of year. Could be 40, could be 60 like today. Yeah...but we're SoCal natives in every respect. A high of 60° means that we're donning pants and sweaters. Add in "wind chill" (5 mph) and it's heavy coats, boots, and mittens.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com

I'm not expecting much from him except for maybe being a morale booster for the team. We have to remember that he was banged up for much of last season and was pretty much factorless. Dare I say it...he was playing as though he was on his last legs (no pun intended). I hope that he can finish his career on a strong note, though (or, at least, on his own terms).by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Todd Gurley was the engine that drove McVay's high-powered offenses in the 2017 and 2018 - not Goff...not Woody...not Kupp...and not McVay. I think that McVay realized this and made the hard push for CMC who has been the closest thing to TGIII. The only thing close to those years was the 1st handful of games in Stafford's first year. Everything else has been average, at best. Like you saiby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsDynasty The OL protection was trash. The Rams should have activated but not started both Jackson and Avila. The Rams would have been better served with Limmer at OC tonight. Jackson might be a better OC by seasons end but the lack of snaps and OL continuity was obvious tonight. They made Dolphins look like the Steelers. Yeah...continuity was def an issue (and likely to be expected).by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com

Well, I think it's clear that he DID improve. The Rams just found a better prospect in Dedich. Tis the life of a mid-to-low round drafted player. Hope he's able to catch on somewhere.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotecool_hand_luke <snipped> Going for 2 there is not an easy decision. For me the key is how much do you like your 2pt play call. I disagreed with the decision to go for the 2-pt conversion, but have to admit that I only saw the last 90 seconds of the game and have no idea how LJ was playing. QuoteGreat Bordeni Two ones? Yeah...I'd give up two #1's. He is FAR superior to ANY defender we have on this roster. He's a true "difference-maker." But it'd be more than just giving up the draft picks. You'd have to be onboard with giving him a contract extension that will likely surpass Bosa's. Quotealyoshamucci <snipped> He's battling with Hockenson for "best TE I've scouted" He's bigger than he looks, can block, and is comfy catching double digit passes a game.
