Trying to think of a team and HC that could utilize his blocking/receiving skillset.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Listening to Movin' The Chains yesterday when Charger fan called in bemoaning the fact that the team really hadn't done much to that point in FA. When the caller complained about not resigning Ford, Jim Miller went off saying that Ford wasn't resigned because he really isn't that good of a player. He mentioned his lack of height and the fact that this is the 3rd team that's decided to move on fby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree that Tunsil is a very good LT. As a matter of fact, he might be the best in the game right now and someone who you'd want to protect your franchise QB's blindside. But just speculating here from the Texans' perspective... I believe that Tunsil is heading into year 2 of his 3-year contract extension. At 31 years old, I suspect that HE might feel as though he has another 3 - 4 seasoby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
- Traded Deebo - Lost Kinlaw in FA - Lost Hufanga in FA - Lost Greenlaw in FA - Can't remember his name, but I heard that they may have also lost a depth OL to FA - Listening to offers for Aiyuk - CMC rehabbing from several injuries Shanny gets the most out of his teams, so I won't say they can't make the playoffs. But this feels different from the last few off-seasons.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
He's been on the block for a minute now. Were the Rams asking for too much in compensation? Did potential teams not like the portion of his salary that they had to take on? Or maybe other teams see the same things that the Rams have (i.e. injury history and declining ability to separate?by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not sure if he's a defensive fit, but I'm wondering what Samuels, Jr. might fetch in FA at his (relatively) young age.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Earlier on NFLN, I saw that they'd superimposed a pic of Adams wearing a Rams jersey with #15 on it. So maybe he already understands (or has been communicated to him) his short-term role on the team.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
According Ian Rapoport, Adams wanted to play for a winner on the west coast. That tells me that he (Adams) likely had discussions with the Whiners (who def need help at WR) and the Rams knew it. The Rams had to make a great offer to get their man.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Seahawks get 2025 2nd round pick. DK gets new contract with Steelers: 5 yrs / $150M.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes. Now I'd really like for the team to focus on tighten up things at the CB position. We're clearly, fully "all-in" again and there's no reason to be shy.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com

Reported $40M per year and over $120M guaranteed.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotepromomasterj What he did the last five years doesn't matter to the rams as to what will he do the next year or maybe 2. <snipped> Exactly. If the Rams pursue and acquire Adams, it likely means that they'd be "all-in" for another vigorous Super Bowl run. And I wouldn't be surprised if Adams were the only high-profile veteran that the team would pursue.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
without having a single clue as to how this guy was performing in practice or positional meetings.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Too bad...Lockett was quite a player for them for several years. And their WR unit (with DK and Smith-Njigba was pretty good. They just never had elite (or even very good) QB play during that time period. Oh well...I guess they're in the same boat as us as it relates to turning over a position group.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't see a write for him. Do you have any thoughts? I'd heard that he'd been generating a little buzz with his size/speed combo.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Congratulations to Alaric Jackson! Dude worked his way through the ranks and took FULL advantage of the opportunity to start when it presented itself. Good for him and good scouting/coaching by the Rams.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemtramfan Does that get us closer to a Super Bowl than bleeding a little to keep Stafford? I'm replying to this AFTER hearing news of the agreement between the team and Stafford. The answer to you question is "no." But I try to make it a point to answer the actual question that posters pose. Moot point, though, now!by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Raiders get: 37 y.o. Matthew Stafford Rams get: Raiders 2025 2nd rounder, 2026 2nd rounder, and Jackson Powers Johnson or Michael Mayerby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNewMexicoRam And that's just a starting point. Stafford had the Rams 13 yards from a win that would have brought a home field NFC championship game. One could easily argue that Stafford was the best QB in those playoffs. There isn't any player eligible to be drafted in the first round of 2025 who could do that. Ehhhh...I'm not so sure that I'd scuttle a potential deal over theby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 We just need to recognize that it’s just kicking the can down the road for a year or so. Meanwhile, I would extend Jimmy G as an insurance policy until a permanent QB solution is found. I’m scared to death that Rams are gonna let Alaric Jackson and Jimmy G slip through their fingers. Sigh… (LOL!) I get a kick out of, when someone asks a very simple question (e.g. what QBby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
JG plays EVERYTHING waaaaay too safe and would eventually put McVay at wits end for failing to look deep. And when he does look deep...he can't seem to make the connection. I don't care how well he played with our back-ups. Darnold, OTOH, is more aggressive and FINALLY showed that he could cut down on his turnovers when put in a decent offense with protection. Yes, his last two games were cby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAvengerRam <snipped> Colby Parkinson (3 years, $22.5M, $15.5M guaranteed) With Tyler Higbee out for most of the year, Parkinson had a real opportunity to step up and make an impact. The results were not very impressive (30 receptions, 294 yards, 1 TD), and Higbee's return really showed the potential of a more effective TE. Have to call this one a significant overpay at this pointby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Though we gave up the explosives, it was the two TO's that were back-breakers. I mean BACK-BREAKERS!by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Anyone have any thoughts on him? Big man in the middle. Along with the hiring of DC D'Anton Lynn and the play of Latu, I thought that Toia played just as an important role in UCLA's defensive resurgence in 2023.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsDynasty QuoteShecky I'm in agreement with you. If Kupp did get blindsided, he didn't owe the Rams any "hush hush" favors. In a way, maybe it was a good negotiating tool for Kupp with the Rams if they realize they can't move him. <snipped> Cooper couldn't have been blindsided because he saw the same thing happen to a healthier, younger Robert Woods a few years ago aby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAlbaNY_Ram Right now the Rams are the 10th favorite for SB 60 with 28-1 odds. Where do you think they would be after making those moves? I don't know. But that's only because I've no idea what the future holds in terms of the draft and FA. But I think I know where you're headed with the question, so let me just say this: I believe that Matthew Stafford is a top-10 NFL QB (anby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
