Sorry. Could not resist.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I know many of you are older. Personally??? I do NOT want to endure another 12 year drought. ALL OF US love the Rams or we would not be here almost every day. A Super Bowl is the ultimate for a fan. I have to be honest........PERSONALLY, I'm having trouble with the "Was it worth it" question. I love Rams football too much to honestly say I'm OK with multiple seasons of garbage on the fiby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Geeeesh! Imagine if the GSOT years didn't happen???? That's almost THIRTY years of misery.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
The "Music" Industry has SUCKED for a LONG LONG time. It is all studio produced / lip synced CRAP. In the last 12-15 years, a LOT of GREAT talent has passed away and NOBODY is close to filling their shoes. Today, we not only lost Christine McVie but IMO....it was also the end of a MEGA / LEGENDARY band.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
She steeped aside YEARS ago because in HER words, did not want to be a pathetic old Granny on stage.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
But yeah....I have seen clips of her in the last 10 years and she was hit or miss.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
1979!! My Dad took me to my very first Jacksonville University Dolphins Basketball game at the Jacksonville Coliseum. I had NO idea who we were playing. It was FREEEEZING outside, so I wore my SEARS Catalog Rams sweatshirt.....Rams Varsity jacket (Remember those yellow plastic sleeves???) and my Rams knit cap with the yellow ball on top. As we walked through the Coliseum to the Concessions and tby Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
Simply TOO fragile to say great. It was Big Whit and others, IMO.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams banked on very few to zero injuries. If even just HE went down last season, we were screwed! Even after cashing in ALL of our chips, we won the Divisional, NFC Title and Super Bowl by a combined 9 points. We now are missing Miller and OBJ. We have a older QB who's time in the NFL is rapidly catching up. AD had to be talked into NOT retiring last Spring. Ramsey has OBVIOUSLY lost a step or twby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Aside from that, we have a QB who was getting shots in his arm BEFORE the season, who was OFTEN off with his passes. We had ONE WR worth a flip....We had WHO for a RB????? The Defense has a D line with ONE guy being double teamed and held with ZERO help......Wagner was NOT worth what we paid.....Ramsey has NOT been worth what we gave up for him. YES! It has been a freaking CRASH!! Looking theby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
A LOT of future picks went into that (By the skin of our teeth win). Well.....On top of paying that Credit Card debt, we have unexpected injuries on top of it all. So actually....The CRASH and then some is upon us. We had HOPED to get one....MAYBE two years from last season's team. We gone ONE year. Now the bills are coming in the mail and we have minimum wage income.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
GSOT......EVEN with a blocking FREAK of a RB in Faulk, Warner got CRUSHED!!! Even so...That O line lasted 2-3 years. The Rams have not seen a CONSISTENT line since 1990.....IMO.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
After his best two friends passed, he told me......."The very worst part about getting old is seeing family, friends and familiar faces pass away". That day and the look on his face is BURNED into my memory!by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Anyone who is charging has got to have a less chance of injury than someone playing in a defensive mode. Walter Payton was a good example. HE laid the lumber on Defensive players and was rarely injured, even with a CRAP O line / team around him for most of his career. I look at our O line....They are mostly in Pass Pro...much more of a defensive / vulnerable mode. I'm not saying it makes you inby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
What a huge blow to the Music World.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
The 1978 NFC Title happened!! I think even Cowboys fans stopped moaning about their blue tops after that day.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
THAT is the biggest question I have about McVay.....and his very questionable use or NOT use of the run game (When we have one)by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I have often thought about the elaborate dynamics of Offenses....The amount of Draft picks and $$$$$$$$$$$$ to get "THE BIG playmaker!!!"........ The next Johnny Unitas at QB etc etc. As crappy as our O was this year, I think 3.5 per play SHOULD be the standard. It puts an INCREDIBLE amount of pressure on the D and......opens up things down field. As soft as our D is, I'm surprisedby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Ramsey would be #1 on my list. Rams paid for a Porsche but now we have a Mazda, with Ramsey. I'm also seeing what we can get for AD. Till we get some help for AD, he's is gonna be double / tripled teamed and essentially useless for his value. Get some picks for him WHILE we can! I'm also trading Higbee. I have always liked him but he too has not been much help. Bowers from UGA would be a HUUUUGEby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Everyone often forgets that he got the hell beat out of him in Detroit. I was thrilled with the Stafford pick but worried that we would not get much life from him. If he plays beyond next season, I will be shocked. And in all honesty, not shocked AT ALL if he never plays again. I also hope we are done dealing with DIVAS such as OBJ and D Jax. AND NO MORE "PROJECTS"!!by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Go back to 1973-99 look! Have A home jersey. Have A road jersey. BOTH were classics that were loved by Rams fans and even NON Rams fans. I wish I had a dollar for every compliment I have ever heard about the Classic look. That would put an end to the Oregon Duck / Figure out the uniform for THIS week crap. And get a REAL logo. I'm itching to buy some Rams stuff again. I'm not spending a penny onby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I still thought we'd be a Playoff team but even that quickly faded. This team...BEFORE the O line injuries was just not right and played with little fire, IMO.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
That it's NOT quick fixes with has beens on bad knees and or 1-3 years from retirement. Snead / McVay HAVE to take it serious as hell and get some LEGIT picks / FAs and DO NOT waste time on "Projects". If we DO pick up a player that is crap, I hope we don't wait till our QB is crushed a dozen times because of said O line guy....and MOVE to the next guy.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe some big names are gone next season and Contracts restructured. Even at it's peak, the O line was very average. The line has been ignored for a LONG time. Snead / McVay have no choice but to address it.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
NOT the injuries but being forced to deal with the BIG CRASH we all knew was coming. It's almost like a VERY bad hangover after a helluva party. Now....We are forced to puke even though we didn't want to. But that is often when Hangovers start to feel better. Even as I watched the Super Bowl parade, I thought of this season happening this year or next. IT WAS COMING!! I'm glad we are gettingby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd LOVE to see that again!by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Great WR but NOTHING about him says TEAM. It'd crack me up to no end if somehow, Dallas choked and did not make the Playoffs. Even a first round exit would be comical (And that is likely)by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
From McCutcheon all the way to Gary, it did not matter who the RB was. That RB played well. I always catch flak when I say Greg Bell was just as good as E.D. I thought he was tougher vs tough Defenses (Giants and Eagles)by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
