I guess Tannehill, Winston and Bortles would be called franchise QB's, yet all are under threat and maligned by fans and media. Mariota is barely any better and Carr isn't looking like a guy being paid top 3 QB money. Can any of those really be called franchise QB's? It seems to be there are 3 or 4 levels. I don't think it's realistic to lump Ryan and Stafford with Tennehill and Bortlby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Firstly, we really can't be sure about this years crop of QB's. Secondly, that is a very, very short time to predict that it's a new trend. It's far more likely to be a hiccup if the last 40 years are anything to go by.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
That's not at all what I said, or meant! It was simply an easy comparison to pull up.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
In the NFL. I have no clue where you get the belief that 3 elite QB's are drafted every year! Ther are more high quality RB's taken than there are QB's, but more importantly they have a much reduced impact on the team. My original comment was that the Giants probably messed up taking Barkley if Darnold turns out to be a high quality QB.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Using a 3 year sample size for the success of QB's.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Most of the talking heads thought that with OBJ back, a star rusher SB and adding Solder to the OL, that the Giants would be a halfway decent team capable of 8 or so wins. To think you're going to get a top flight QB picking in the teens is rolling the dice and then placing your winnings (if there were any) on roulette. I *think* that because it seems like there have been some good QB's comby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Why I utterly hate having to share a stadium. I get the reasons, but that place should be dripping with Ramsness!by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Over whether you take a great running back as the Giants did when there are QB's sat there and you have a declining ageing QB at the help. Jemack mentioned Marino as being a great QB who never won a ring, which of course is true, but almost all the great QB;s win Super Bowls when that isn't even close to being true for RB's. Since Marino went to the Super Bowl in 84 here is a list of the leby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Er no, they had to coach it too. Fisher had talent and couldn't get the most out of it. McVay inherited some talent and maximized it. And as somebody else pointed out, The common denominator is Snead. I know unequivocally that Snead wanted Donald and Gurley and Fisher pushed for Robinson and Austin. Can't tell you how I know that, it's a secret. But you can trust me, I'm a doctor.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Barry Sanders is the great RB of all time. How many rings does he have? If Darnold turns out to be a great QB and they struggle to find somebody to replace the declining Eli, then it won't matter one jot how good their running back is. Who cares if Eli's successor would be on the bench this year, their season is toast anyway and nothing Barkley can do will rectify that as was demonstrateby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com

If you'd told me we'd be flexed out because of how bad the 9ers are (and that's the reason) before the season started I'd have said, 'hell yeh baby!!!'by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
On that pass with Goff scrambling backwards and just hurling it to Gurley way behind the LOS, why didn't Gurley just bat it down into the turf and make it an incomplete pass? He was wrapped up and nowhere to go. Is it just instinct? Because you rarely see players do that, yet there was zero danger of an interception.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Wants an edge rusher like Quinn was at his peak, because he was in the top 2 or 3. I agree with you we need somebody, but I'd take a top 25 guy tbh.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
At least for me. At no point did I think we were going to lose the game. Yes I was pacing and shouting at the TV and the dogs had taken shelter in our bedroom, but I had total confidence in Goff and McVay. It's a very long time since I had so much faith in this team.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff has been below par, out two best receivers are out and we've still scored 30 points with 10 mins to go.by RamUK - Game Time Forum

That was a thing of beauty with Bailey streaking down the sideline and all the players wondering where the ball was.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Meeting so many people I knew on the board in SF was super cool. Up until then I'd always gone to games on my own or with a buddy who didn't really care about the game. So from seeing the Rams play 5 times with zero atmosphere to tailgating with a few dozen rabid Rams fans at Candlestick. Sadly we lost the game, but still a day to remember.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com

Devastating is when people LITERALLY don't know where the next meal is coming from, not when they don't know if they can afford a Ferrari or have to downgrade to a Porsche. He'll survive.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
