On that pass with Goff scrambling backwards and just hurling it to Gurley way behind the LOS, why didn't Gurley just bat it down into the turf and make it an incomplete pass?
He was wrapped up and nowhere to go. Is it just instinct? Because you rarely see players do that, yet there was zero danger of an interception.
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
