Quotemtramfan Jimmy Piersall reference - Bennett's case is much the same. Piersall went on to have a notable baseball career. but should be, as you agree I'm sure ... based on his performance on the field. But nothing should be held against him for whatever the issue was. Jourdan Rodrigue @JourdanRodrigue · 17m Stetson Bennett is back practicing with the Rams after his absence last year. He’s happy to be back and feels good, said he missed football and while he didn’t want to share specifics he agreed that his situation fell under the mental health umbrella.by JimYoungblood53 - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteleafnose Is this a Shula type defense facing trips right? And how many in the front read the HB? BTW, Sensei, I'm not worthy to try to keep on the chalk board....... and Rams have run that since 2020, with the tweaks of the DCs and Shula will run it but will also have his tweaks As far as reading the HB by the front-- In this the right safety reads the HB because if he releasby JimYoungblood53 - RamsFootballFans.com

I think Rams had a formation X, too, but not in that game and that was also Larry Brooks kind of getting national notice. Howard Cosell mentioned him and he had bunch of tackles.by JimYoungblood53 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteden-the-coach The reason the made the trade for John Hadl was because Gabriel had not been healthy in 71 & 72 and the Rams wanted to have two QB's, but Gabriel forced the trade to Philadelphia, which brought in all pro WR Harold Jackson & RB Tony Baker the touchdown maker. Hadl was MVP in 73 and Gabe was comeback player of the year. Hard to believe Gabriel would have been worse agaby JimYoungblood53 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesix2stack I feel like everyone is always trying to promote Stetson Bennett. He's just another Pat Haden to me. Lacks size and arm strength. I don't think people are promoting him. I think most, at least what I have seen, see what you see. A guy who is small and does not have elite arm. They do point out he was a so-called guy with that thing that helped him win, whatever you want to call iby JimYoungblood53 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 100%. He has to earn the QB3 job. They do, of course, need a QB2 for weeks 1 & 2. We'll see how he does. Still a path where he can stick as the QB3 this year and develop into a QB2 for 2025 but a steep climb ahead for him. He never should have been expected- by the team or fans- to walk in and be QB2 right away last year. whatever happened with last year, he's simply gettingby JimYoungblood53 - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams have a lot of snaps to backfill from not only Donald retiring but Jonah Williams (almost 600 snaps in 2023) departing. Ideally Williams goes from 100 snaps in 2023 to something like 400+ this year. Don't know if he will get 400 snaps or not, but it's possible. My guess is he plays same position as Fiske and splits time with him and also maybe even some 3-tech He's versitle --- anby JimYoungblood53 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRockRam BTW: anyone EVER heard of a player doing that? I sure haven't. That is a real bad look.... and especially for a QB. is one, the Olympic gymnast, have seen other basketball players do it. I don't know if he makes the team or not, but I think will be based on his ability to run offense, and they won't hold any mental issues against him ... teams are hip to this kind of thing, nby JimYoungblood53 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRantoulRam Never say in 5 minutes what you can say in 20, seems to be his motto. And as others have said, he is a passionate fan, but not sure he has any credentials beyond that. Quoteden-the-coach plus he cohosts another Ram Podcast with Alexis Kraft Downtown Rams and they have had many guests on that Podcast, especially during the draft. That part I hadn't heard.
